yea i own it and i love that movie

gladiator and the patriot are really just mimics of that movie in a lot of ways

Matrix gotta be cool on DvD and Braveheart is really good :)

But I think the Patriot won\'t be so good.

The next 3 DVD\'s I\'m going to buy ( little change to this thread ):

Superstar :rolleyes: My daughter loves it and it really grows on ya.

Those are my favorite movies that I own on dvd and can watch over and over.

Fight Club
Final Destination
Thomas Crown Affair

Those I rented and liked alot, Thomas Crown had the best sound. The yacht race had my house rumbling from the waves crashing.

Dusk Til Dawn
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction

Movies I\'ll add to the collection soon :D

When I first got my system hooked up I always used Matrix to show people how everything looked and sounded :cool:

It don\'t get much better than that. Honorable Mention goes to Spaceballs, for being a cool movie but getting slightly shafted on the DVD. A commentary by Mel Brooks, a 6 minute "Making Of", a trailer, and a spiffy interactive menu just doesn\'t cut it these days. Better than some, but not good enough.

wow... you can tell dvd was new then... you start buying crap movies just for the sake they were released on dvd already lol like Nutty Professor 2... wtf was i thinking thankfully i never made the mistake of purchasing it
