Reasons why gaming will become more popular!

First it was the N64 pokemon pic and now this troll pic. OMG, I haven\'t had a good laugh like that in a while. Just look at that forehead. I don\'t mean to pour salt on the wound Trin but when I first saw this pic pop onto my screen after scrolling down I nearly popped a blood vessel from laughing so hard. Hey man I love my ps2, Dreamcast and I can\'t wait for Gamecube. Hey I\'ll play a kiddie game any day so long as it\'s fun. IMO, it really doesn\'t matter. Just play what ya like.

It feels kind of stupid that adults are going to try playing games just for graphics. Of course the games look more realistic, but I have always thought that graphics aren\'t the thing in the game. If you don\'t have the imagination to come along with games like FF3 with pixel-size graphics, then it\'s better that you don\'t play at all. The new graphics don\'t leave much for imagination and that\'s a shame if thinked twice.

Once and for all, stop this stupid argument MM and Trin. I\'m not going to back either of you up.

Well i agree with the main point that adults are getting more interested in the next generation consoles.

My dad alone was very impressed and at awe when he saw Madden and the other launch games i bought. Infact for the first time in a long time he is renting games and playing them with me. It makes me feel good that me and my dad share a common interest.

The shortage of ps2\'s had also brought about a interest among adults because of seeing it talked about in the media - otherwise many of them wouldn\'t know what it is. - because of the shortage and demand - my dad couldn\'t wait to tell his friends and co workers that i got one.

He even brought some of them overto eat and wanted me to show them the ps2.

I think that the DVD capabilities of the ps2 are a big plus  for adults but not the main reason they would get the system - for one the ps2 dvd set up is not real adult orientsted and most adults would actually have trouble probaly even turning the system on and off - but like most new technology they can get the hang of it.

Now i can not wait to see the what the next couple of years have in store for me nd my dad.

Why keep pushing it, well I have had a lot of patience during this topic and i\'ve tried my best to get through to this fool that pro Sony trolling (that is exactly what he does) his own forum is not only a fu[/i]cking stupid thing to do but sets a bad example for the newbies on this board.

Im going to give this up and give a final bit of advice on the matter, don\'t listen to this clueless knob, there are plenty of other pro Sony supporters in this forum that do post intelligently and set good examples for others to follow.

An admin that is the cause of many flamewars on this forum (this topic another in a long line of examples) that punishes members that either disagree or disaprove (though bannings or degrading pictures) of the idiotic tripe he posts is simply rediculous IMO. From my perspective mm\'s admin tag doesn\'t hide the kind of immature dimwit the bloke is, maybe he should ban himself a grow up a bit (i do mean that literally) before actually returning to his own forum rather than posting the short sighted tripe which he does right now whilst showing us a real severe lack of insight and common sense.

Well, it seems that trin has ruined another thread. To think I actually came in here to read posts on why gaming will become more popular!!! hahah silly me. Anytime trim posts to a thread you shouldn\'t even bother because its ruined. IMO the only reason trin post here is because he gets all the attention. I mean if I were to go over to a nintendo site and start bashing it I am positive I would get a sh!tload of replies and people would just love to reply cause they hated me and my posts so bad. At the same time if I go over there and start posting all about how great Pokemon is(great and pokemon in the same sentence...yuck) I would get a couple of people saying stuff to support me and that would be it. Oh well, I guess theres one in every forum. Thanks for turning another post into a flame war trin. your a pretty cool guy. ewww look at trin he gets all the replies....ewww look at trin he knows big words and talks back to the mods .......

Trin, I think nintendo does have a technologically better system than sony. (its a year newer), but they coninue to cater to children so its gonna fall flat on its face. I mean how stupid can banjo or pokemon really get. That is what nintendo is pushing the limits of. I think one of their engineers wrote a paper "The thoretical limits of how stupid a game can be"

I may not like Sony very much but so what, since when did my argument ever have anything to do with games in this thread, never once so DO NOT bring games into this. You assume im defending Nintendo and knock me for grabbing attention, that\'s because you simply have no argument for the points im making, mm is an immature troll who sets a bad example for newbies like you to follow.   Hey Trin, I am up nobodys ass!! I was threatened with bans quite a few times when I came here. This was because I was asking questions that made some people mad or wasted their time. (to be quite frank I was asking questions about how stuff works here)
  So we don\'t want to involve games, that is fine. I still think in my humble opinion that you like attention, but at the same time MM loves to put you down and make funny crap out of your name and pic. I like this forum and the people here but MM is showing poor skills as a mod and an admin by lashing out at you. In fact I think he should be far more professional about the whole thing. On the same note though, I can\'t say how I\'d react to benevolent behavior like that. (p.s. trin that last sentence was a joke cause even you need to laugh once in a while).

In a nutshell I come here to find info on games and talk about the games I am playing with other people. I like the whole community thing that seems to be taking shape. I mean co0me on trin , when and if PS2 goes online wouldnt it be worth 300 bucks to play mm and whip his ass at something ?
I try really hard not to flame, although I am an occasional smart ass.
  So where do your interests lie trin, are you a hardcore gamer? Are you a nintendo loyalist, an x-box superfan ? I don\'t know you at all. But, if you are a hardcore gamer then you should be excited about some of the things sony is doing right now as much as I am excited about the texturing capabilities of the new gamecube. I mean I could bleed blue when you cut me (Sony color) but to deny some of the tech demos of the gamecube is impossible. As far as x-box goes, well I will have to wait and see because it is just vapor ware right now. When MS starts to show games for it though I will definitely raise an eyebrow in interest.
  So tell me about yourself and what interests you trin. Even I\'m guilty of taking jabs at you once in a while but sometimes you ask for it. SO if you want to pm me or reply right here go ahead. I just want to know why most of your posts are negative?

Unfortunatly the few people that tried to make this a legitimate discussion were overpowered by others. This is pretty pitiful guys.
