Xbox design revealed at msxbox.com...so many hits it crashed the site!

I\'m not crazy about the Xbox\'s design. It looks alright, but nowhere near as stylish as the PS2 & Dreamcast. At least it\'s not as hideous as the Gamecube... and they left that cool neon X symbol in the middle, so that\'s a plus.

Now the controller, that looks badass. A bit more complex than the Dualshock, but a lot smaller and more comfortable than the DC\'s pads. Plus the D-pad is kinda bowl shaped and looks like it\'s padded. I\'ve always prefered that style of D-pad over the Dualshocks (which tends to give me a sore thumb after playing for a few hours). I\'d like to see what 3rd parties can do to the basic design.

All in all, it looks like the PS2, DC, and N64 had a Manag\'e Toi.. and the Xbox is the result.

Great system, but I\'m not buying it until I see some games.

I think it looks great (it sure couldn\'t look worse than the GC ).

Hopefully the approaching offical unvailing at CES will reveal actual game footage/demos which demonstrate the console\'s power (I\'m looking forward to it).

Hey man that looks cool! I\'m gettin an X-box instead of gamecube now. But the controllers look like they hurt

I also don\'t like the controller, but as long it play\'s good I don\'t care if it looks pretty. I thing I will have to wait at least a year to find out, I hope my PS2 and my DC help me while waiting.

im sorry but i refuse to believe that this is microsofts console. it looks like a sack of ****e. how difficult are those pads gonna be to use? does that ball thing in the middle do anything?
It seems to me that microsoft tried to copy sony on there "retro" look but i cant see how they got from the design of the ps2 to the xbox.

The controller looks like a combination of all the best controller designs. This thing looks really cool and a lot more comfortable than the PS2 Dual Shock.

BTW, You guys are funny. If it doesn\'t look like a DualShock you guys say that it looks impossible to use and if it looks like Sony\'s pad you say "Where is the innovation?" You guys just can not be pleased. This is the best looking controller that I have seen in these Next-Generation console wars. More Power to Microsoft.

3. GC  (2nd best looking)
4. PS2 (best looking)
