Improved XBOX Controller Pictures

I\'m thinking the same as ddaryl, the controller probably lays in your hand so that your thumb will be over the analog stick.  

Also, everybody wants to bring up that it looks like other controllers.  Didn\'t the original PS controller borrow HEAVILY from the SNES controller?  

Sure as hell doesn\'t do anything for me, i still think the PS pad hasn\'t been beaten.

I think the ps2 pad is the best thier is or ever was, but this pad may be great for racing games (appears to have dreamcast like triggers on it)

Don\'t get me wrong, I am looking forward to X-Box.

But...


It has triggers exactly like the DC, buttons like SNES, and it has a second analogue near the buttons like the Gamecube pad. There is a tiny subtle hint of PSX/2 pad in there two though.

To be honest though, it does look very useful (not particaularly sexy) but it has all the best bits from the best controllers.

I think it is good, and don\'t really mind the fact that it is a blatant rip off of other controllers.

I was confused about this one too, but if it fits right in your hands, and the games are designed for the controller it might actually prove to be a good thing.

I agree too. I gotta try first before I judge. But the looks... they\'re quite mixed up. They\'re :boom: Can\'t say about that either; photos don\'t do good if compared to real life.

I still hate that lime green colour.

And nothing will change my opinion on that. Still if the colour would have been blue I\'d complain about them copying from Sony. So why do I complain at all?

One thing that must be done is to try it before any judgement is passed.  The NGC controller looks like hell to hold and control but IGN said it was awesome so go figure.

Ugliest damn thing I have ever seen...  Hopefully there will be some decent aftermarket controllers for that thing.  

as i said yesterday in a post about the x-box. its complete ****e look at the design, it looks like it hurts to use and you wont see me buying an xbox.

It\'s a great controller, so you XB haters whining like *****es, shut the **** up. DC and PSone/PS2 controllers are all comfortable, and its shaped like a cross between them. The left anolog is placed at the top because the buttons are even with it, and its the main directional. It makes perfect sense. Stop (some of you) being morons. It looks dope, and will very likely play good.

The Xbox controller looks like a gigant toad!

No on all three of your points fast. It looks dope, PS2 controller doesn\'t look better. XB\'s controller looks much sleeker, PS2\'s controller looks boring.
