How much does Mario Lemeuix pay himself
« on: January 03, 2001, 07:51:37 PM »
He\'s the owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins and now he\'s a player as well, so does he pay himself or does he play for free, and draw his owners salary ???

The dude pisses me off too because he hasn\'t lost a step it appears. Why can\'t the Sabres have a superstar like Lemieux.

Oh yeah they did with LaFontaine but a couple of illegal elbows to his head ended his career 1/2 dozen years to short.

From what I\'ve seen said, he just draws the owners cut.  That\'s one of the reasons he went back to play.  He and the other investors figured to make a killing at the gate with him on the ice making it possible to keep the team in Pittsburg, possibly getting a new rink and giving themselves nice fat raises.

I have been taking mind-expanding LSD trips three times a day for the last eleven years, and I can honestly tell you it is not addictive

Unfortunately the amount of LSD you would need to even catch a buzz after the 1st month would be extremly high. LSD has a high tolerance to where as after you do it you need at least 2x\'s as much the next time you we\'re to do it on the next day, and by the third time in that same day you would need approx. 6 or more doses, but all this would be a waste cause one dose lasts approx 8-14 hours, so you really would ony have to trip 2x\'s a day.

I can safely say at the end of 11 years you most likely would be doing close to a 55 gallon barrel of LSD on not feeling anything, of course you might not have much of brain left for feeling anyway since too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

and Dolbytone, I kinda figured they make a killing, no one has lived up to Mario\'s talent since he retired, and the lad obviously still has it.

Yeah but its a killer plan, because Mario obviously can still play, he has some 6 or 7 points in his 1st 3 or 4 games. He hasn\'t even warmed up yet.
Pitt just became a serious contender on top of that plan, which is the ultimate plan to begin with

Hey, hey, it\'s a take on a quote I got from Mad magazine, I\'ve never actually done acid, so don\'t analyze it too much.

However, knowledge like yours comes best from experience, am I right;)

I think Bobby Orr should come out of retirement because the Bruins can\'t go anywhere but up. It is so difficult to be a Boston sports fan now-a-days.

Well Gohan, with a goalie like DaFoe (sp?) that\'s easily understood, the guy\'s a fish... plus they got rid of (or allowed themselves to lose) their only franchise player a year or so ago.  What kind of dork would let Bourque walk out the door... fools.  He was half of their ticket sales, I\'ll guarantee it.

Well ddaryl, all I have to say is that only cool people seem to be Zappa fans, and the guy was a f\'n genius.  I wish he were still around.  The music scene I think would be much different... and I\'m really pissed off at his son for not taking up the reigns.  What a turd.

mm, yeah, any real hockey fan could see that plan from a mile away... and I\'m not complaining either.  Hockey was about to need a shot in the arm after Wayne retired (not a huge fan of his BTW).  My hope is that someday hockey will start replacing basketball games on TV, I hate basketball.

yeah, basketball = poop.

it needs some flair to it, perhaps some violence

hell, when the indians invented the game, if u were on the losing team, you lost yer life as well as the game in certain situations

basketball = boring

ice-hockey = only interesting when there\'s fights and accidents or when Teemu Selanne does a hat trick :)

boxing = interesting to do, interesting to watch

wrestling = boring to watch ( after you realize the fights are acted and planned )

-Mario Lemieux has enough money for rest of his life; lets not speak how much he still gets :)

football = a tactical sports? :)

I\'ll take the 5th on this one.

Joyda Ice Hockey rules, its the last sport where medium sized White boys still dominate.

Medium sized white boys from Canada and Russia.

BTW, I hope hockey never becomes more popular than football. American Football is God\'s greatest invention.
