Sega\'s future
« Reply #15 on: January 15, 2001, 02:49:23 AM »
I was planning to buy a dreamcast but I decided to wait till e3

sega\'s future is not very bright (I wish it was!)
there r too many rumors about sega going to be bought or going software only/multiplatform

these rumors are what the public/retailers think about the dreamcast
they don\'t think it has a chance

Dreamcast is a great console with many great games, but the developers, publishers and retailers kill the thing. They want it to go down so that they could focus on the next wave of next gen consoles.

I read an article in a  magazine about how the developers think about DC future

One of them (I can\'t remember who) said

"DC is dead it just doesn\'t know it yet"

this may sound very harsh but it might be true

I personnaly want to see the DC number 2 at the end of this console war!

Do you believe in a god that statisfies
Do you believe in a god that opens eyes?
Do you believe in a god that tells you lies?
Or do you believe in me??

I guess it is ok to have a little (or alot) optimism now and then! I guess we got until March! Then it will be time for Sega to embarass everyone 3rd party into the ground.
