I just downloaded a bunch of vids of this game, and I am soooo stoked!

This game looks absolutely incredible!!

The only game I may want just as much is MGS!

I was a tad excited about it a little while ago, till I decided to go ahead and download all those movies!

Good Gawd, man!  Looks like a movie!

I\'m not very stoked...
I think it looks pretty boring and repetitive,
another survival-horror game by Capcom
but I\'ll wait and see how it turns out before I judge it...

I would much rather see more of Silent Hill 2 and I really want to see Tenchu 3 on the PS2

I love a good dungeon hack, and although obviously this game doesn\'t take place in a dungeon its still going to be the 1st real 128 bit hack\'m up game with cinematics like never before.

all of the animations are recorded so the game will have a real feel to it as well.

sounds like you guys are pretty narrow minded.

Why don\'t you just say that any survivavl horror that comes out of Capcom is another Resident Evil cliché?

All the people who are saying Onimusha is another RE clone obviously haven\'t been watching it very closly.  The only similarities between the 2 are: 1)They both use pre-rendered backgrounds, and 2) uh....
Ok that\'s basically where the similarities end.  Unless you want Onimusha to be some puzzle game or something then shut the hell up.  You can only go so far when making a game, and just because someone thinks it resembles a game you\'ve made before doesn\'t mean it\'ll be bad.
Oh, and yes I\'m stoked for Onimusha.  I\'m reserving it later this week.

If you\'ve been playing RE at all, you\'ll know puzzle is PART of the game. although it\'s the kind of puzzle so obvious even a DimWit **** can figure it out.

CAPCOM has been milking the industry with crap SF sequels for over a DECADE!! Can u imagine that? and now, looks like RE:Sushi Edition will be here for another 20 years(or until CAPCOM close shop, whichever comes first)...

Sequels can be good...just look at MGS2 and GT3. It takes advantage of everything the new platform has to offered while CAPCOM sequel is the same pre-rendered re-hash in high-res.

I\'ll rather take a classic sequel than 10 \'me-too\' rehash.

Some people say that Nintendo rehashes and milks their franchises and games. They don\'t - sure, they\'re sequels, but all (most, at least) are top-quality, have many new things in them, and they don\'t flood the market. (The one exception might be Pokemon)

You can bet that there will be another MGS and GT at least on the next-next gen system. (if not on the ps2)

Well...  Not really on the subject, but...

 Anyways...

I\'d be interested in this game if they would\'ve incorporated that idea of the motion-sensor "stick" (where it would be your sword)

Oh yeah ! I\'m definitely dying for Onimusha....I just cant
wait for it to be available. I heard that the game is finished, ready for Japan shipping, and we guys in US
and Europe should get it in March.

Still 2 months...fortunately, February is only 28 days long...
