The X-box is quite humongous in size!

I thought you had stolen a prototype of X-box from somewhere, Sammy, and you had smashed it to pieces and then please us showing the inside of X-box... wow, I\'d like to have a gory X-box inside-out picture...

Heh, if you think that\'s big you should see the finished Xbox dev kits. Jesus, they\'re huge. I thought they were freezers at first. From the way the pictures looked, they were about 2x as tall as Sony\'s TOOL and about 3 feet long. I\'ll try to find the pics and post them here.

Man X-Box is one big mutha ****ing console indeed!I saw a pic at NN where there were comparing the size of the X-Box to NGC,and there were almost FOUR GameCubes on ONE x-Box! This thing is huge...

PhoeniX, I agree partially with you, that the looks of the dev. kit are horrible PC-like, but does it really matter? :)

I mean ( I\'m not backing up Microsoft here, but... um, I\'m just saying my opinion on this ) PS2\'s dev kit isn\'t a beauty, even \'tho it isn\'t that large. What does the size matter?

But to another fact I think X-box is way oversized ( the console, not dev. kit wich could be as large as a car for what I care ) and it\'s ugly.

My answer to Microsoft\'s offerings from x-Box, its one big joke waiting to be laughed at. I mean when it was first announaced, we all laughed at Micrsoft as how could they possibly show ANY interest in the console industry. Was it the money? Was it the strong monopoly power? Sheer fun? Respect? Who knows, I don\'t give Microsoft ANY credit to their x-Box as to why you will see I show no comphasion for MS x-Box in anyway, but I will be honest.


x-Box will be ground breaking, it will shut out PSX2 and GCube for the time being. Yeah sure, your probally thinking not many are going to make the switch or actually buy this thing. But let me tell you. The big talk behind online gamers at this point of time, once x-box is released, theres no going back to PC\'s for gaming. It\'s that big and supported. It will support Pentium III processing, fast D ram, a custom made nVidia GPU that will push the limits in triangles, gigatexels, fill rate. It has some VERY strong software support.

Aside from x-Box, I read a Newsday article about the death of Sega. Perhaps more interesting, Sony was mentioned in there. It\'s almost a no brainer will Sony announace a new system very soon. Its predicted that Sony\'s PS2 will be in the dark when x-Box is released, thus, Sony out of the competition. Sony\'s PS2 is actually doing worse than what Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 started off by showing weak Third-party support and lack of quality games.

We will see. I\'m not jumping to conclusions just yet, but I wouldn\'t be suprised about some of the things I just mentioned happen to come true.

I like the Xbox and I know it\'s gonna be quite powerful.

But there is no way Sony would release a new system anytime soon (unless soon is about 5 years). That would just be suicide and pointless. Things will start looking better for Sony and PS2 - just look at games like Z.O.E. and Gran Turismo 3.

lol, that was a very funny pic and i took it in the spirit that it was meant, just a jk. but i still can\'t help thinking, that if this was ms xbox and someone posted a gag pic of the ps2, some of you guys would be screaming how idiotic and moronic xbox fans are for doing the exact same thing.
