New HALF LIVE Pics !!! Must see...

They look alright to me, they are a bit better than the pc version but it is not a big improvement over the dc version
the new facial expresions look cool, unfortunatly I dont know if i\'ll buy this game because i already own the pc original

Well Half-Life is old and the graphics engine on the PC is way way old, its from quake 2.  The engine for half-life on the PC was old when it came out.  If the PS2 version didn\'t look any better that would be a shame.  Half-Life is very old and its stupid to put it out on the PS2.  It would be better off with Half Life 2... yawn....

  You can definatly tell this is for PS2.  Every fanboy thinks the graphics are the best thing in the world and they don\'t care that its an old game.  Just about every game that looks average or old or has terrible graphics is the best thing in the world to a PS2 fan.  It could be a game that looks and plays like crap, but you know its the best thing on the planet and it shows the true PS2 power...

Well, the graphics aren\'t all. Half-Life is an experience, very atmospheric, and you\'re going to love it if you haven\'t played it already - old graphics or not.

I was hoping that Sierra would update their Half-Life -graphic engine to a new level but I can\'t say yet...

And Soul Reaver; I think PS2 will have lots more extras than the DC version... But it\'s yet to be announced and seen...

Don\'t forget to port Rogue Spear to ps2 with Full Features intact...I want that Replay Cam.

Speed up the framerate and maintain the PCish graphics ..not too much to ask...then i will be a happy man.

I haven\'t played that game on my PC, and I\'ve wanted to get it since the launch of the game; and now it\'ll be possible via my PS2 with all the extras!!!

I thank you..Darth Joyda..but i am not able to confirm this...its just my ps2 wishlist.

They say that Half-life for PS2 will be an improvement over the PC version(Gamepro), and DC version(Gamepro again).  That was in graphics... now, I also think the game will be coming with online options, but we will have to wait to use those options until Sony comes out with it\'s network thingy.  In all, Half-Life will be the true, must get game of 2001.

Why should they care about it being an old game? It is, without question, one of the best games ever, so I don\'t really see the problem here. The updated graphics are just a nice plus. For those who haven\'t got a PC to play the game on, or just haven\'t played it yet, this will most probably be a great investment.

so rumour... well, they could port the new Rainbow Six ( I don\'t remember the name, but I think it\'s being made to Pc ) could be a good port for PS2.

But we\'ve got that war-sim ( 3d, don\'t remember the name ) and Red Faction; those two will surely be VERY GOOD...

Well, timesplitters goes now because it\'s kinda good but don\'t speak about reality It\'s damn hard \'tho and I\'m stuck...

ok first of all half-life is the BEST fps game. and second of all the characters are a lot better.

I don\'t think they look THAT much better, but better. And yes, it\'s the second best FPS. You ever played System Shock 2? No competition there. At least in my books

Half-Life got a big minus for the last section (Xen, or whatever it was). Though System Shock 2 had the same problem... somekinda trend that Adventure FPS\'s must end in some dorky organic place... System Shock 2\'s final levels were a lot more fun (=exciting) than Half-Life\'s.

Half-Life\'s ending was cool though...[spoiler] it\'d be cool if you could\'ve tried your luck unarmed against all the creatures if you decline the offer... maybe there\'d be a crowbar lying around somewhere. Now there\'s an idea for a continual episode [/spoiler]

Sierra only publishes. It\'s Valve that made the game.
