Maybe PSX2CENTRAL should change his name to PSXBOXCENTRAL.

when the games like this, come out
and actually look like this.
and too see everybody\'s faces and say.. I told you so.

again i said before in my fisrt post, that it could be possible, i don\'t know, but it\'s not the graphics i\'m concered about, it\'s the resoultion. As AARon had said he thinks that those pics will not look like that on a standard conventional tv, as i agree.

Yes, they will look much better :P

I happen to know a ton about video,
640x480 is the maxium a TV can reach
The tv does not show as much detail (Blurry, less DPI),
therefor the little blemishs cannot be seen
the game in motion, on a TV will look much much better

The pics are at 640x448 res.

People also need to know that a TV can only run at 30 FPS max when things are 640x480 in resolution.  TO get 60 FPS you have to lower the res a little bit.  It kinda sucks but I think it\'s worth it.  Gameplay over graphics anyway.

Now let me think of why I just said this...hmmm...

HEy CHRONO i must say i think tv\'s blow goats there resoultion sucks. We are in a time of gamming where we demand better graphical quality were we can see great deatail in the game.  I tell you when i get a PORTBOX i will hook it up to my 21 inch SONY trinitron monitor. Just like i do with the dc. How can you guys stand tv\'s, there cool to play racers and sports games on with your friends but when it comes to intense online gamming man i need the HI_RES and deatail, it just blows the 640x480 resoultion tv\'s.

What are your thoughts, and do any of you use a monitor????

well the pics look good - real or not they are impressive to look at

I only hope they are real because they would be great to see in motion

The question to ask is not just if you think these images are faked but rather would the development studio and sony be inclined to release false images again after being exposed before and flamed because of it, it would do nothing but harm their reputation. I can see evidence to support either claim - faked _or_ real so Im going to leave it at that.

i don\'t care if the first images or these ones are fakes , as long as i can get to play it before i buy it, this title looks promising and i want to see it for myself Running and not just still screens .

got the Dropship demo on a DVD coverdisk, OMG dose it look great, all that detail an no slow down or pop up .

Put your cursor on the picture, right click and goto properties. You will then see the pics are in 640X448 resolution

Also there is no gameplay happening in any of these pics, so obviously they need to be taken with a grainof salt

On the other hand "The Getaway" has a crew of over 100 people with a monstorous budget provided by Sony. The textures for this game are abstracted from digital photographs to give it the real look. The entire area in the game is a full acurate portrayal of  London.


BUT until we see gameply movies and pics with hands on previews we sould all take the shots with a grain of salt

if it runs like Dropship then ill be happy .

The things i like about Dropship were the trees...hundreds of them as you pass by them on the air just like in the Tour Of Duty chopper scenes...they aren\'t bitmap but polygonal trees.

Then the radiosity lighting against the ground when the craft fly low in the valley looks photorealistic...
