I think that GC/DC/X-Box news is also PS2 news. As long as it is not something like look at this game it kicks (Insert Console Name)\'s @SS. If not then I agree with Jumpman about a new forum. A lot of us don\'t post news about other consoles expecting a debate.

BTW, I have to disagree with you ddaryl. Most of the members, old enough for me to give a S#IT about, have said they plan on getting other consoles if the price is right. I think we have more people that want to hear GC news than hate GC. The same goes for X-Box and DC.

[EDIT] BJORN and MM have said many times that they welcome news from other consoles as long as they are not flames. At least they said something like that.

First off, if you go over to another FORUM and start trouble, you make it look bad for all of us. Then you cause a bigger problem. So, please don\'t do that. It won\'t solve anything. Any forum will have a few trollers. Its a simple fact of \'net "life".


Second, I think our common ground is very simple. We all enjoy games. For the most part, most of us in this forum are \'hardcore\' gamers. It isn\'t a love for the PS2, or the hate some of us have for the XBOX that makes this forum fun. Its the mutual respect (most) of us have, because we all enjoy games.

 

I love games, there\'s no "ifs" "ands" or "buts" about it.  hearing the NGC news in here would be welcomed, just like I welcome the X-box news, but I just don\'t want it ramed down my throat with biased fanboy commentary or made in a relation to why "the ps2 sucks."  I may hate the X-box personally, but my hatred for a company or a piece of hardware will not keep me from playing some great games.  

A seperate forum for XBOX, GC, DC news is a good idea but I\'m afraid its simply not going to happen. This is a PS2 site after all, and I don\'t think the admins\\Bjorn are gonna make a seperate forum for competing consoles.

I think that this forum would be better with news of other systems, and people can post information about other systems, but not going on flaming like **** about it i think this forum would be pretty boring just being a ps2 forum. (there needs to be some spice!! )
