I just recently got a ps2..its probably like 2 weeks old now..I purchased two games..SSX and TTT..both are great by the way.  Unfortunatly I cant try out other games simply because every blockbuster I go to..has rented out every ps2 game they have..and I dont really want to buy the ones avalible right now..DoA2 was on my list orginaly..but after playing it at San fransicos metron..I was kinda turned off..sure it looks pretty..but I didn\'t like the fighting system..madden was on it too..but I\'m not a huge sports fan..so I crossed it out.  Now in march we have a new wave of brand new video games..and starting it off is star wars..which is coming out late this month I think.  Anyways..I haven\'t played a good lucas arts game since tie fighter and rebel assualt..I for one pray for this game to be good..is there anyone else here hoping that this game turns out to be everything lucas arts says it to be

The only negative I have heard about the game is slow down in IGN\'s "Preview Copy" which they got about a month ago.

Hopefully thats ironed out

yea i will have to rent this one first but it looks like winner to me

although from what we found out looks aren\'t everything...hint towards the bouncer

i also have it on pre-order and will get it the day it ships...i love starwars and i\'m sure i will love this game...nothing leads me to belive it will be bad...i cannot wait to play it:)

Hey Ddaryl on IGN\'s new preview they say the only time they experianced slowdown this time was in the two player mode which means they fixed the other slowdown problems.

Ho3j, I\'m assuming you are the mod From MSXBOX.

Man, I still haven\'t even played Battle for Nabbo on N64 yet. So many Star Wars games... So little time. But hey, I\'m not complaining.

I supposed to have a great flight model, and great speacial effects.  The 3d world looks really immense and I hope the missions are really in-depth.  

Your supposed to be able to fly through the big Capital ships.  I can\'t wait, I hope its similar to Wing Commander, as your fighting the enemy avoiding them by flying through the big ships, I can\'t wait for this game..  Its gonna be great.

After Lucas Arts pushed Rogue Squadron my way, i have looked forward to another flyer. I will definatly at least rent this one.
