Dc Dead

Hi all

Well i have to say soemthing to all those who about a month or so ago were all having debates on DC vs PS2 and what do you know my predictions were dead on again, PS2 rules, DC is finished no more units being made, i did get soemthing wrong thoe i thought DC would last about anouther year..

yea the death of the DC is  a shame, i thought it had another year at least left in it

but sega is an open welcome into the deveopling market, well at least from the consumers - not so much for the competition though

hahahaha fools! DC is not dead. Do I play it every night? Yes. Do they stil sell the systems nationwide? Yes. Do they still make the systems? Yes. Only until the last of March though. But they have over a million and a half to sell to the end of the year. Are they still making games for it? Yes. 30 from Sega alone. Will DC have it\'s best year ever this year? Sadly, Yes. Shenmue 2, MSR, VT2, CT2, Skies or Arcadia 2, Daytona Online, SA2, etc! and no one will notice because of ignorant people who think it is already dead and, well duh PS2 is better. People who choose not to inform themselves or play the games.

If Sega was so proud of their console then why are they turning their backs on their own system?  I mean they are quitting the console business to help others?  If DC was really sucessful Sega would be making another system.

I don\'t know, but I\'ve emailed Bjorn twice.  I\'ve asked Ddaryl but he doesn\'t care.  No one can email mm.  I wonder if Samwise, Soulgrind, or Aaron would help me out.

That\'s Ginko, just because these are still temp forums. You can\'t get your pic back yet, as you have to wait ( like rest of the ppl in your situation ) until the main forums are back up again.

But, back to this subject. Is sega going to end manufacturing DC\'s soon? I didn\'t know that\'s quite sad.

I mean, DC is really good console and would deserve more. But this is reality, and reality is very much about showing off. DC never quite got the attention.

PSx2 took it all. Everyone was expecting PS2 to come out.

But sega isn\'t dead. Gladly.

right then i am going to send Clyde a bunch of emails and a big box of bananas via the power of the internet. i hope he eats them both and becomes very happy .

TheOne - Sega did not turn their backs on DC. They supported it and released some of the best games ever for it. Hindreds of games have ben released, but hype and marketing killed them. Not their fault, they did what they could, but to no avail. Sega did not turn their backs, they were turned on b the community jackasses like EA and Square who are too full of themselves to develop for Sega, because obviously it wil be a failure. what a gay self-flfilling prophecy.

They are stopping production at the end of the month, but will sell them throughout the year. games will still be sold until March at least.

Not this March dummy, Next March! dont you read any game sites or listen to ANY games diescussions? there are still many games coming out before the end of the term, trust me.
