Is the Relaunch A Rumor or Fact?

I\'ve been hearing rumors of a PS2 relaunch next month.  Is that just a forum rumor gone wild or is this in fact an official Sony-planned event that is supposed to make up for October 26, 2000?  Fill me in on this.  If this is indeed true, I don\'t think that anyone (even large corporations) gets a second chance to make a first impression.

Its not a "relanuch"!Its that Sony is gonna release a ****load of new PS2\'s consoles to go along with the AAA titles all being released in the same month.They also will have a massive ad campaign as well.

We tried to give you the benefit of a second impression and you failed.  So maybe you are right, maybe no one gets a second chance.  And if that is the way it is then so be it.

To answer your question, its not a relaunch its just a new revived media coverage.  Start pushing the PSX2 again and what have you...  Werd  :D

i think thats its a fact, everyone has been calling it a re launch, not just people on the forums, in stores, best buy, everywhere, so im pretty sure its official, and i also think they arent trying to make a second impression, ithink they called it the re launch because they are going to have more ps2 out since they doubled production and are coming out with so many games, thats why they call it the re launch, not to get tha same affect as they did on oct.26 that was the begining of next generation gaming, this re launch is the big game bambozle.
