Kings Field IV
« on: February 21, 2001, 12:14:18 AM »
Life sure is great at the moment for RPG fans. Hot off the heels of the Tsugunai update comes some more information regarding Kings Field IV, and some screenshots from a near complete version of the game. Due for release in Japan this Spring, the game is already looking quite impressive, but especially (as is the trend among RPG\'s at the moment) in battle scenes, with the magic effects and lighting techniques drawing particular attention. Not much is known of the actual gameplay at this point, other than that it will take place mostly in caverns (as can be seen in the shots below), but we will keep you posted on further developments. The game will be sold on DVD-ROM, the expected price being around US$59.

Hmm..they have not implemented a radar or a mechanism to see
nearby enemies.

This is disadvantageous in an rpg fps games because you might fell from a cliff during fighting and cause cheap death.

What are you talking about Wasp???

Anyways, the game looks sweet as hell.

BTW, does anyone have the first japanese Kings Field (the one not released in the U.S.)? I can\'t find it anywhere...
