As some of you are aware already, being a GREAT brother, I gave my sisters my Dreamcast as a Christmas gift recently (cuz I\'d pre-ordered & got *without standing in line* a PS2 on Oct 26th for FREE -- I\'ll get back to that in a PS at the bottom...). Anyway, being a REALLY GREAT brother, I read this thread to get them a deal for their upcoming birthday (okay, that really means that the deal is mine cuz these games will be birthday presents anyway). Anyway I got a mongo deal at my Best Buy in Richmond, VA this evening.
Here goes:
Legacy of Kain $4.99
Speed Devils $4.99
Tony Hawk Pro Skater $19.99
Currently, BB is offering $5 off one DC title, or $15 off two or more DC titles. So, besides the great price on the 1st two titles BEFORE any discount, where\'s the deal?
Okay, seems the BB system gave me $5 off at the register (by taking each of the $4.99 games to $2.49 each. Of course, I quickly pointed out to the young fellow (with 3 earrings in one ear...sorry if that offends anyone on the forum, but with or without the earrings, we\'d all admit this particular cashier had been dipped out of the lower end of the gene pool) that I was supposed to get $15 off for purchasing more than 2 games. He studied the circular with an ever-so-quizical look...then scurried off to get his manager. Cool...this one had only 2 earrings (thus more IQ, right?). Study, study, review, ponder, mmmmm, "Yes sir, you\'re correct...let\'s get that discount straight for ya right away!"
So what\'s he do? That\'s right, he overrides the Tony Hawk to $4.99 (ya know...to give me the $15 off for purchasing 2 or more games). Been paying attention??? Remember, the BB system ALREADY gave me $5 off against the first two games.
Final result??? All three games came in at $10.42 (incl VA sales tax).

PS. Oh yeah...\'bout that free PS2? Some of you know...some don\'t...I have a Toys R Us VISA credit card. It gives me credit vouchers for future purchases based on charges (you know the routine...). Well, since I use this credit card for my company travels (motels, airfare, rental cars, etc.) and every personal thing I possibly can -- AND pay it off faithfully w/ no finance charges of course -- anyway...I had over $500 worth of vouchers on Oct 26th. Mmmmm... Highly recommend this credit card if you are a console gaming nut!!!
