FF9 ending (spoiler !!!)

This is not directly related to PS2, but..

I finished FF9 yesterday night, and I found the last bosses easy...ok there are four guardians, another one, then kuja, and then Darkness, but I thought Darkness would have been tougher.
When I finished FF8, it took me one hour and a half to defeat Ultimecia, and it was quite a hard fight.

Last battles in FF9 were really too easy...I didnt even have one game over !

What did you guys think of it?

I agree, WAY too easy. I got through on my first attempt with low-level characters. I can\'t say it was a breeze (when I won it was a lucky critical shot while only one of my characters was still alive with 1 HP), but I would\'ve wanted a longer battle. Fell short of the epic showdowns of FFVII and FFVIII.

A great game anyways, better than FFVIII, not quite as good as FFVII. Great final episode for the PSX Fantasies
