My list? It\'s kinda incomplete, but here are the highlights.
- Roger Waters - The man is a ****ing musical genious.
- Dave Mustain - I liked how he sang about real world problems and the dangers facing humanity filled with politics, not just that lovey crap or alternitive nonsence. (At least in his earlier albums)
- Harry Chapin - For making Folk Music sound good.
- Mike Glabicki - Because Rusted Root is one of the only bands out there who\'s sound draws heavily on tribal influences, which I enjoy.
- Kurt Kobain - Another Genious, cut down in his prime by heroin and ***** wife who had him killed.
- Jerry Garcia/Bob Weir/Phil Lesh - for experimenting with new sounds without loosing their roots and reminding us that life is the trip.. not the destination. And also for rembering that they are simply artists doing what they love for those who appreceate it, not superstars who measure their fame by how many porches they own.
