That X-box can\'t do what it\'s told it can do or are they just LATE on the goods and the X-box will be able to do it eventually?

Game companies touch up screenshots all the time but this sucks. I guess this sucks because they are so noticeable.

BTW, you can\'t blame anyone but Microsoft. How dumb are they to use the standard Photoshop lens flare?

HERE is a link to the picture in question

That just angers me. There probably is a character model behind that fake shot. It is positioned perfectly to be covering something else up. I wonder how Microsoft\'s spin doctors are going to handle this.

ha ha. This is pretty sad if you think about it. I am a photoshop freak myself, and at least they could have changed the lens flare, make it darker, lghter, or of a different lens size.

I guess we will have to see what comes of this, though.

And once again NPLAYER is right:D

I can\'t wait for the people who bashed The Getaway to come in here:D

This means anything microsoft says CANNOT be trusted..only reliable gaming sites can...everything they say from now on i will treat like BS...

you know what would be even more funny?...if they did this on a MAC:D

I have read the whole post at the ign forum, and this is the worst thing in gaming that I have ever read.
I will NEVER trust ANY pictures from MS!!!!
I have no words for this, how can MS do this and put it up on x-box official site?

Just look at this link
http://members.chello.nl/~r.schennink/fakestuff.jpg

I quote from the forum:
"I noticed one funny little detail about Project Gotham. Take a look at the following picture: http://www.dailyradar.com/screens/game_preview_all_screen_9925.html

Notice how the sky is quite dark and green. Then look at the reflection of the car windshield - it\'s quite bright and blue. Why?

I came up two reasons for this. Either project Gotham uses fake reflections, that\'s why they look so good. Or the actual picture is fake. Now what Gotham and Amped have in common? Both come from MS.

So what do you think?"

Read this page........

M$ : What\'s this? This what you call a trigger eh?

*blam*

M$ : OWWWW! MY FREAKIN\' FOOT!

Really, I\'m quite amazed by all this. All these little details show that something\'s not quite right. There are going to be good things coming out of that stupid-looking VCR-thingamajik, but this still lowers my respect towards M$ (which dropped down to minus 23578623 something as I type)... I wonder how well time heals gunshot wounds. Cheers to M$.

M$ just added a disclaimer...this is some unbelievably funny stuff.

http://www.xbox.com/games/amped/

It says:       Note: Some images enhanced to reflect end product.

Guess we will have to wait and see if they actually end up looking that good.

Oh, I wonder how the skier in the picture that appears to be standing still is going 51 mph as is indicated. :)
