I put this on order as well.
This is a great promotion for Red Faction.
Not only does it give them lots of word of mouth advertising, but they can gauge how fast the demos go and figure out just how much of a hit this game is going to be.
Also, it shows lots of faith in the product.
To give you three levels shows that they feel they have a great game, and that all the problems that could be fixed have been.

This is purely my luck. I read this forum when I saw this topic. Red faction demo?!? I first thought like ddaryl, that it would be a PC-demo, but I wouldn\'t mind that; I\'d want to test the game.

But then I read it\'s a ps2-demo. I get more excited, until I read that sencente copy-pasted above.

You can\'t imagine wich kind of words flew out of my mouth... ;)

well speaking of the "for U.S. resident only" thing, i guess we will be getting them shortly :), if they are located in the U.S. and they mailed them id say a wekkf rom now or less than that, they should reach our mail boxes in about 3-4 weeks? all depends on when they send them, and in what order they send them, i hpe m right, its gotta be a shorter time than waiting for Japanese demos to come over seas like the PS2 demo right?

i dont wana bring anyones hopes up cause you never know, im just making an assumption.

Well, I signed up for it as well. I guess it can\'t hurt, and if it\'s a real offer it should kick ass. I just hope we get it before the actual game is out.

I belong to another forum that is particularly dedicated to snooping out excellent *hot* deals.  These members can be absolute paranhia when it comes to ravaging a site or a B&M store that has a great deal.  I\'m sorry to say in this case that I saw this demo deal posted over there as well...  So definitely, jump on it if you can cuz they\'ll do it for sure.  Although in defense of them, they tend to purchase stuff that\'s beneficial to them...so I suspect that if they don\'t own a PS2, they won\'t do the deal...
