That IS definitely a bunch of crap. For one thing it says Factor 5 gave an explanation, but just because they didn\'t like it (or didn\'t understand) it, the question was left unanswered.
Factor 5 has given the explanation before (and you don\'t have to have a "Nintendo" tatoo to understand it). AC-3 was NOT designed with interactive games in mind, it was designed for pre-recorded movies. Because of that, it has a relatively high latency time. As such, you could expect a slight delay between events on the screen, and the sound effects. So a character could shoot out some glass, and then just a tad bit later you hear it shatter. Obviously that would be pretty annoying and I\'m sure they\'d have a much better time bashing the GC if that was the case.
As for the loading times, games need to be optimized to improve load times. It makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever for them to put that effort into a sound demo. But also, it\'s hard to tell how that time was broken down. Did it take 3 minutes to load, or did it take slightly less than that for Factor 5 to start it up?
