Xbox delayed until March 2002 ??

maybe The E3 will show that GC is the only true competitor of PS2?

That\'d be suicide for the system. Microsoft isn\'t stupid, and they\'ve got too much invested in the system to let that happen.

LOL ...OMG I have never in my life seen so many rumors surrounding one console. Oh well what will they say next about xbox. This week it is that. Next week a whole new rumor. Just keep up the good work fanboys keeps me laughing til fall2001:D

Well, XBOX there were the rumors of the NA launch of the PS2 being delayed until November or December of 2000..... Luckily only those EU foriegners got the shaft  Kidding:)

So.... The Rumors fly with just about every console launch. No biggie.

Why do I always see rumors about other consoles on a PS2 site?  I don\'t see sites of other consoles reporting these rumors.  I wouldn\'t be surprised if IGN was making this up, but you never know they could be telling the truth.

IMHO, as it may be, i do not believe that X-Box can put out the system before December 2001. This is if their statements about the Dev-Kits are true. Let me eleaborate (please?). See, Many ppl were upset about the screenshots or movies or whatever at M$ recent gaming Jamboree and M$ assured these were taken from Dev-Kits that only used 50% of the system. Well, Fall 2001 is just 5-7 months away so they better give their Devolopers something better than 50% to work with soon or they will either A)  have crap quality games at launch or they wont be able to make it out in time. Either would spell doom for M$, so we need to see what they do at E3, hopefully for them it\'ll be something spectacular, otherwise things could get u-g-l-y (and im pretty sure M$ doesnt have an alibi, if you know what i mean )

They are manufacturing parts already... and sinse NO 1st gen games on any system ever use even 50% of the systems power, developers arent missing out atm using underpowered dev kits. Sonic Adventure and Shenmue were both almost completely done on incomplete DC dev kits. XB will be fine...

Hmm good point EThuggggg, i hadnt thought about that. Still, it doenst change my opinion about the need for the X-Box to have some Stellar booty games out there because, like it or not, they are going to get compared to 2nd / 3rd generation PS2 games, which i dont think anyone is in doubt of how good they are gonna be. So X-Box better put something good out, regardless of....well everything, else they are FIZNUCKED! so ermmm YEAH!

This might be the case, most of the news about the development of new games had remained a bit  of a mystery, even if MS is keeping things under wraps , they have been far too quiet for me.

But hey maybe i am wrong and they have keep everything quiet to add to the effect  of the launch.

but at this rate it will be released in 2002 in Europe atleast , that will make an affect seeing that we will be playing 2nd and 3rd gen PAL PS2 games by then.
