Xbox delayed until March 2002 ??

Just so everyone knows:
\'Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company announced today that it has successfully ramped the foundry industry leading 0.15µm process to full production status. The processors that use this new technology are the GeForce 3, Xbox Graphics Processing Units (XGPU), and Xbox Media Communications Processors (MCPX) and the new GeForce 2 MX GO.

“We are delighted to be among the first to make use of TSMC’s advanced 0.15µm process technology,” said Jen-Hsun Huang, president and CEO for NVIDIA. “This new process has enabled us to create more sophisticated processors for advanced graphics and multimedia applications. TSMC has clearly demonstrated that it is ahead of the curve with its state-of-the-art process technology.” \'

I think from now til Octoberish is plenty of time to hit the announced US and Jap launch on time. Also:

\'Microsoft Corp. said it plans to have as many as 18 Japanese software titles available when it introduces the Xbox game console later this year, almost double the debut lineup for Sony\'s PlayStation 2. \'

Both stories are from MSXBOX. Certainly a better source for real XB news than PS2.IGN... :p
