I live in a fairly big college down, so every place that had ZOE was sold out. Thank Darwin I had a preorder! and I also like ZOE. And mgs2 is amazing.

Salt in the f-ing wound.....not only was MLS ExtraTime delayed, my local EB now say they won\'t get ZOE until Friday. If I don\'t get it then I\'m going to go ballistic.

Dude there\'s a long intro trailer before you begin the demo

You got the demo, all Europe got the demo

Button mash to get though the intro if you like, I think Start by passes it it maybe x or square

but you got the demo, I\'m sure of it

Also I got it today and I also got to play both for 5 minutes before I got to work, now I\'m up to my ass in alligators with crap to do today.  Can\'t wait to get home

I herd that someone beat it in about 7 hours. Anyways, I was going to go ahead and buy the game, but found out that (2) Funcoland stores were sold out. As well as EB(didnt get their shipments in), Best buy, Circuit City, Walmart, Target, Toys R Us( didnt get their shipment in either). I even went low and called K- Mart and they didnt even have it. I should have preorderd the game at Funcoland...but i hate them.

I got my copy from Babbages.

It took me two hours to get it!  I drove on the freeway, and when I was going to get off the exit, I found out that the exit was closed!  So I had to drive a few more miles, then backtrack through unkown territory.  I finally made it to Babbages.

The feeling in Babbages felt so weird.  Everyone was so excited and amazed (they had the MGS2 demo on a system).  It felt like the PS2 launch day all over again.

Then they told me that everyone was preordering MGS2 (I think they just wanted my money :)) and said I should switch my preorder over to MGS2 and get a five buck discount off of my ZOE.  I did it, of course.

When I finally got home with my copy of ZOE, my sister was using my PS2 watching a movie.  Oh crap!  This is the first time this has ever happened.  She rented The Titans (or whatever that movie is called) without asking me first.  Because of the nice(stupid?) brother that I am, and the fact that she was visiting from far away (she goes to school at MIT), I let her watch it.  Then my parents wanted to watch the movie.  I am letting them watch it right now.  I still haven\'t played MGS2 or ZOE. :(  The suspence is killing me!

It should be getting over in about 15 minutes.  Then I will finally get to play! :D

My software ect. was sold out but luckly I paid in full and pre-ordered a few weeks ago.  I went to best buy to look at speakers and they had hella copys of ZOE their.  Anywas MGS2 is everything I thought it would be and more. I\'m suprised how simple they managed to keep the controls even with all the new moves.  Anyways, its now getting late and I have 2 papers and 5 sheets due tommorow, i drank 4 cups of coffe and hope to finish sometime before 3am. The thing I do for video games.. It\'s worth it though..

My 2 cents on ZOE, excelent control, cool but fighting system (suprisingly deep for only 3 buttons), great graphics (Damn I love the effect off the elctricity runnig through the giant robots), and emotionaly complex plot so far (You can see the influence of Enders Game).  The dubbing is\'nt as bad as some say.  Definitly one of my favorite games.

After all these positive opinions and great reviews + my love towards mech-games ( yes, I love AC2, and if ZOE is million times better... ) + my anticipation towards MGS2 = must buy.

I\'m, currently, saving my money to Zoe, and will get it next summer ( I think ) with Quake III if possible.

Thanks for all first impressions - and I know what suspension is about, IronFist :) The Day I got my ps2 I had to go to a piano-class before I could play it... talk about a messed hour of piano-playing...

Oh man!  This game is amazing.  The graphics in it are unbelievable.  I personally think they\'re way better then The Bouncer\'s are.  Sure the characters were high in detail, but the game was like the blurriest game ever made.  It looked really sharp at times and then at other times it just looked like a blurry mesh of colors.  MGS2 cleans house when it comes to graphics.  I think I\'m still in shock!  That rain is so freakin real looking.  This game is just so much fun too.  It rocks big time!  Can hardly wait for the full game this fall.

ZOE is a heck of a lot of fun too.  My only gripe right now is how the kid is just a stupid retarted mron. In his big speec that goes something like, "No, I won\'t kill him.  It\'s bad!" All this  While the computer voice doesn\'t understand his reasonings for not .  Blah Blah Blah!  I was just like.  Well, he\'s going to try to kill you later you frickin retard.  The kid is really annoying at times, but the game is still so much fun though.

ZOE and MGS2

ZOE is stunning, but agree about the kid character, gets on my nerves a bit.
MGS2 is amazing, so many details. After clearing the lounge i went round and shot everything :) just to see the magazines, bottles etc. Best bit? shooting the ice bucket on the bar and watching the ice melt :)
far too much time on my hands.

@ddaryl: Nope, even button-smashing didn\'t work. There was no way to skip the trailer and after it ended there was nothing more than a black screen. :(

Maybe i should sell my copy of ZoE and buy the UK-version.
