Eb Sucks Kay Bee Rules!!

Hey wats up people. Today was supposed to be the day of all days , the day that MGS2 demo + ZOE comes out in stores. So me and Ryu wakes up, shower (in separate bathrooms of course) and we head out to the EB near Ryu\'s area. We had our pre-orders ready and as we walked into the store with our heads held up high, we confidently walked to the counter and flashed our pre-order reciepts for ZOE. The store clerk at EB simply responded by shaking his head and saying that they did not get it in yet. They are waiting for their next shipment later on in the day. So we said hmm ok I guess we could wait till then.

We go to the nearby grease pit (grease pit meaning the local fast food restaurants in the mall) . We had some heart clogging food and then returned to EB. Again they did not get it in yet so we walked around the mall. Went to suncoast and checked out their nick nacks and what not. Went back to EB again and to our amazement they did not get ZOE in yet. As we were about to leave, the store clerk informed us that their plane with the shipment was grounded in Houston due to weather problems. We were pretty annoyed by EB blaming their incompetence on mother nature. So we walked out disappointed and quietly cussing under our breaths when Ryu came up with the ingenious idea of checking the other stores in the Mall. We checked out Target, which didnt have it. Then we decided to check out Kay Bee (which I highly doubted had any copy of ZOE, I even betted that if they did, I would be a Super Saiyan Monkey\'s A$$). Amazingly they HAD ZOE. (and now I am a Super Saiyan Monkey\'s A$$) They had at least 10 copies on the shelf. We immediately ran to EB, got our refund and calmly told them that Kay Bee had it (silently holding back our temptation of cussing them out and letting out some whup ass). Then we went back to Kay Bee, picked up our copies and now we are the proud owners of ZOE and the MGS2 demo. so to conclude this long post, Electronic Boutique SUCKS and Kay Bee Rules!!!! :nut: This is the second time EB has not delivered games on their scheduled date. I remember when Ryu and I went to pick up FF9 and they didnt have it. :eek:

My local EB doesn\'t have it either, they say they may get it FRIDAY. Bloody wonderful.

Right now I am one infinitely pissed off hombre, I\'ve had about 6 hours of sleep in the past 2 and a half days because I have so many bloody reports to write - last one due tommorow, then I have to prepare for an interview on Sunday. All I wanted was a little respite and play some ZOE but nooooooo. This has been a f-ed up week for me.

If stores like EB dont have the game yet I guess that means im screwed, my town just has wal-mart, k-mart and target lol

How much did you pay for that copy of ZOE?  I remember looking at PS2 games at a Kay Bee a few weeks ago, and they had an interesting pricing system.

The sign said $10 off if you buy two PS2 games.  The problem is that their single game price is $54.99, so you have to buy two to pay the ordinary $49.99 price you can get everywhere else.  Not to mention you feel like an idiot standing in that store among the pink plastic dollies and knock-off Barney stuffed toys.

I say forget it, Kay Bee sucks.

My local toys r us hasn\'t failed me yet.  I have been able to walk into the store the day a game is released and pick it up.  I might have to pre-order MGS2 though..the demand might be to high for me to just stroll in there and pick it up the day its released.

at EB you trade in 2 PS2 games and get ZOE for FREE !!

i got my copy of ZOE at eb today i would tell you how the game is but i havent really played MGS2 rocks

yah I saw the sign at kay bee that said buy two ps2 games and get a third for 10 bucks or somthing. Anyways I cant say that all EB sucks, just the one near Ryu\'s area. That store is becoming a real fast let down. We paid 53 dollars and 99 cents for our copy of ZOE.

They both suck, KMart does it for me.

Maybe I shouldnt have been so quick to trash wal-mart, yesterday they got a shipment of ZOE in and I managed to get one before they sold out
