Very Hard is HARD!!

I was playing MGS2 demo on very hard, and to say the least its hard. At first I didnt know that if you got spotted that you lose. Has anybody beat it on V.Hard here yet?

Not yet I\'ve beat it on Very Easy, Easy and Normal

I will beat it on all setting then pracatice all my skills for the real deal this Xmas

I beat it hard and just about on very hard got spotted in area by laser bomb

yeah i beat it on very hard. i like playing on hard cause you can shoot them and be seen, but you have little life and the enemys are more inspectious

I tried the demo on Very Hard on my third go. It was quite easy really, since you already know where the guards are and all. You just have to be careful and do a lot of peeking from behind corners.

I like playing on Hard too (wait a minute... does this sound a bit suspicious?), since I like engaging in firefights and holding the bastards up.

i cant find the usb on hard where is it

The usp is on the C deck I think , it\'s south of the guard
patrolling in the \'shadow spotting\' area. It\'s hidden in a
locker.
BTW I also like to play on the \'hard\' level, but I\'ve also
beaten it on \'very hard\'!
And Bozco, om very hard level don\'t go to the bridge via
the semtex bomb, go through the kitchen. Run directly into the kitchen cooking part and you can hide in the wet cbox you have ( you don\'t require the dry one ).
Wait until the guard is the back of the room and shoot him inthe back. Then shoot the camera and post yourself up against the wall next to the exit door ( on the side of the cam ), peek to the automatic door and run as fast to the bridge if the hallway is clear.

haha sorry but I can\'t help laughing at such a concept. Its all about timing and practice. If you have played Metal Gear Solid before alot, this demo should\'ve been a cinch to beat. I can rush through the entire demo on very hard in under three minutes. (Ryu can do the same but he kills olga faster...that bastard ) ANyways just practice and there are some secrets and tricks you can use to go through it super fast.
Oh yah one more thing, on very hard you need to do a lot of back tracking to get the usp so its not really worth it (I didnt think you could get it on very hard but was informed from a friend that you can. Another thing thats different in Very hard is when you first start off in the game, the door on the right side of the boat isn\'t opened to you anymore. Its locked and you cant go thorugh the game from there.

Then I faced off against Olga. It was more me trying to master new moves on the ahrd mode. If I stuck to my wait for a real shot and hide till the next routine I probably would\'ve beaten her

Instead I tried to jump out from behind the crate pull out the USP go into 1st person mode, lock on then fire.

All this is possible just not as slow as I was at it

If "Very Hard" is only "Hard", shouldn\'t that make it easy? Saying it\'s only "Hard" and not "Very Hard" means that you\'re not finding it as challenging as it should be. This is a joke btw, don\'t get all upset.

I too found it quite easy to not even get spotted once by the guards on \'very hard\' skill.  Maybe I\'ve just played MGS and the demo so many times through it\'s just gotten that way, but I thought it was fairly easy.  I think it\'s funnest on the \'hard\' setting though.  Hiding from the guards after they spot you is so much more fun then the game ending as soon as your seen.  I don\'t like playing it in \'very hard at all\'.  None the less it is still faitrly easy.  Like said above, all it has to do with is timing.
