Those pics are 100% pure delicious real time goodness. Obviously they\'re all cutscenes, but they\'re still nothing short fo amazing and they\'re not even direct feed!!

About Shiva, if you think about it in the FinalFantasy games she is generally one of the lowest, least impressive summons, imagine what Bahamut  Zero and company will look like!

for some reason i have a feeling that this game will be all graphics and not the best gameplay... i still dont know....

oh and i\'m kinda sick of these shots of tv displays at gaming conferences... its better than nothing but show me some better stuff!

my biggest worry. Above all is is this game going to be short? Every beautiful game for the PS2 has been short. Bouncer, ZOE, Star Wars, to mention a few. Final Fantasy has always been a 100+ hours game the first time thorugh because I spend plenty of time leveling up and making shure i do, talk, and see everything.

I`m pretty sure it will standard FF gameplay with slightly different magic and ability system. I for one would love to have Materia system back from FF7.

I would like Materia but we need a new way for them to go up levels. That hole eqipt to item thing always bothered the heck out of me.  Just wishing of course but if they put in an Item that would give you one more slot, or if you wanted connect two slots.  And every ten lvls you go thte option to add a slot as well.

i got every single thing on FF7 and it took me over the time count it stopped 99 hrs i just hope this game is almost that long

If Square makes this game short its going to be their biggest mistake.
All FF must be long.Lenght is one of the most important things Square should consider in a FF.
Longevity is one of the aspects that made the series so great.

I get happier every day with this game.  While at first it looked similar to FF8, now you can see that it really is more of a fantasy world, especially when you look at the character design.  While it looks to  be somwhat diferent from the midevil fantasy world it looks more like  Japanese fantasy.  I like.

Personally, I think the job system from Final Fantasy V was the best.  I had a problem with the materia system, eventually you get so much and it\'s hard to keep up with.  The weapon system was ok in Final Fantasy IX, but you had to wait to equip new weapons.  I think the best way to go about things is to go old school and use the job system.  I will push one thing though, and this pertains to all FF games.  The level system should be slightly faster, I mean come on, after level 50 you level up like once a year...

bring back the friggin materia!!!

i loved the materia and i must say that these screen shots are amazing, yay! PS2 is finally showing its true colors,
