I don\'t trust Acclaim either, but 90% of PS2 screenshots always look like **** compared to the actual game. I\'ll wait till I see it running on an actual tv before I compare it to the DC version (which I own).

This is a screen capture I did with a ATI-TV card, one of the cheapest ones on the market. The quality isn\'t the greatest, but I can\'t imagine someone having worse stuff. Especially a professional site.

Crazy Taxi is so overrated. I found the game to be boring after day 2

No, no, no; those are old pics.

If you go to IGN and search for this pics you\'ll find them in "archived media", not in current media. This is how the actual game looks like one month of work later than those previous pics:

http://ps2.ign.com/previews/16200.html

As you can see, there\'s an evolution since then..

By the way, Crazy Taxi for PS2 is just a direct port of an old DC game so i never expected that it will look better than actual PS2 games, but it definitely will not look as bad as those screenshots DirectXbox posted above.

Yeah... DirectXbox\'s shots I remember seeing a month and a half ago yet. And even then, CVG said it looked much better than that in motion...

The bottom pics look ten times better...the first ones looked like Driver on PSX or something...just goes to show that things can improve.  Only played this in the arcade, and it was fun; I would like to check this one out.

while i though crazy taxi was fun i just don\'t see a reason to pay 50 bucks for it - if anything i will just rent it but thats about it

the game is fun but it gets old real fast if you ask me

CT is fun for about 5 minutes in the arcade, after that I get bored and move o to TTT or C vs SNK, the home version sux because you dont have the arcade setup + the graphics are less sharp.

I\'m not looking foward to this game, accliam.. give use F355 challange!

Why would this game be released for $50? It\'s old, the DC version is less than $20, the sequel is due out soon. That\'s just bad marketing to sell this at such a high price.
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

ct sucks in a big way, dunno if it will be like it on the ps2 but the dc has such bad pop up. I cant stress this enough but this game is sooooo bad, i was bored to hell on only my second go. wre we meant to want to buy a game that has a few extras, ohhhhh you can have more than one passenger or cheerleaders in your car, there still going to the same place and plays the same. this is a joke especially if they sell it for full price, if they sell it for £20, i may think about getting it, but only if im drunk and it wasnt for me:D
