Welcome to the forum CS2x (best on the net)!  :eyemouth:

As for the Final Fantasy series, I didn\'t like 8 and 9 as much as seven, but like most, it didn\'t stop me from spending a gazillion hours playing through them - more than I can say for most games.  Final Fantasy appeals to those of us who read fantasy books, remember the good ol\' days of Wizardry/Might and Magic (Xeen anybody?), and AD&D.

Oh and BTW, isn\'t Crash Bandicoot Sony\'s "sonic" or "mario" guy??

Well, ddaryl posted a list of PS2 exclusive that is pretty impressive( thats only if your a PS2 fan ;)). But, the\'ll be getting the best games FIRST. Meaning, all the high quality blockbusters will appear on PS2 before they appear on any other system. This means no horrible ports! You should be happy with this that.

I\'ll defend you when you say the FF series is getting boring. For a RPG to keep me interested it has to have good gameplay. I usually get sucked into the magnificant story but if the gameplay sucks then I won\'t enjoy it. FF8 and partly FF9 is an awesome example of this...

FF boring ...WTF?..jumpman I guess you like zelda as a rpg, IMO zelda is not a rpg.

I never mention Zelda nor do I think it should be classified as a RPG. Zelda does rule all in the gameplay department though...
