My connection is 56k ooseven,also i live in england,so the time is going to be the same as yours.
Maybe you could have a clan for the Europe and a clan for the usa?Would it work for the holw world?Does it cost more to play some one in the usa?

Don\'t worry mate it won\'t cost you more to play someone that\'s in the USA.

All games happen on registered servers so all you do is pay for your call to the server regardless where the server is.

the only Disadvantages of playing someone form the USA are.

  • Their might be a increase in LAG, the time it take info from your PS2 to the server and back again.
  • Time diffrence , if he is on the east cost then you will have to remember time in relation to where or not you or he/she can make it.So you can make it at 9pm but the other chap is at work...etc ...etc....etc...
  • He/She is an American....only j/k ;).
  • He/She is a memebr of PS2WEB ...only j/k ;).
  • He/She is an American with Cable or ADSL, (Broadband), which will give them an advantage in First person shooters, Low ping = Smoother game and lower lag.

It was a same that quake 3 wasnt online,because i liked quake 3 online for the DC.
So what is the first PS2 game to be online?

Alot of us have already talked about this but we all have been waiting for official word

I figure we will open up a private forum for the online team which of course will be invitation only.

As information becomes more clear arrangements with Bjorn will more than likely be made

If I have all the right stuff, and enough time yeah, count me in.

I\'d be all up for all the compatible games (I hope) to have.

Probably along the lines of F1, GT4, ISS baby!

I just don\'t think that this place will be as good as http://www.granturismo.com\'s GT players, IF there is a game that does support online play. I could race for them, IF the time came, but I don\'t really like that place anymore (A fallout with some of the members, you know, nearly all of us don\'t post there anymore, doesn\'t men I don\'t read the stuff), and I\'m just as good as any of the others there, and I wouldn\'t mind sacrificing myself (well, more not sacrificing myself rather take them off the track).

well, count me in for now

Anyway count me in. I have a 3megabits per second cable connection and live in California so I\'m in Pacific Time which is a -8:00 hour offset. Of course I\'ll be a leader, since it was MY idea. ;)

I live in singapore and have cable, but by the time ps2 online network launches I have moved back to holland and I will be back on a crappy ISDN or even 56k again :(

But hell yeah great idea, I love to play Ironfist or ViVi online in Tekken 4! :)
