Homemade scratch removers?

My copy of THPS occasionally pauses for a few seconds then gets back to the action.  I assume its because of some tiny scratches on the CD.  I heard toothpaste worked good on removing scratches, does it?.  Is there ant other good homemade scratches removers?

???????????????????? i have no idea about home maid scratch removers, but if anyone has a good 1 then im for it, im gonna probably buy the cd doctor, they have it at software etc.,

a little Ajax on  a Brillo pad will work

In all seriousness, Armor-All works great. I use it on my cd\'s all the time. It can make an unplayable disc work fine. Be sure to wipe it all off though. I swear to god this works. I used to work at a used record and CD store, and this is what we used on them.

aww yeah, props to my man aaron on his awesome tip, i always wondered how the video store cd\'s always stayed in tip top shape , im gonna try it and give my opinion.

and this is normal armor all i take it?

Yeah, the regular stuff. I sprayed it on the disc, and then wiped it off with a tissue, Then I got a fresh tissue, and made sure I got all of it off.

I think metho works the best...
