TM:B and Dark Cloud are also first party games. And I think FFX is enough to sell tons of consoles in Japan, and quite a few in America and Europe. GT3
is enough to keep the PS2 fighting strong against the two newer, arguably more powerful consoles. (Yes, arguably. The PS2 architecture is way different than other consoles, so it\'s very possible the game developers will use all of the power on the familiarly structured Xbox and NGC in the first couple years while the PS2 developers will continue to find more ways to improve their games because of the flexibility of the PS2.)
And lets not forget about Naughty Dog -- possibly one of the most important second party developers Sony has. If they unviel their game this E3, it could easily steal the spotlight from the other consoles. (I know, I\'m speculating
)
Also, the PS2 is getting lots of cool games this year that have been listed hundreds of times (no need to list them all again
). Most of them are PS2 exclusives, and if they\'re not, most people would rather get the game this year instead of waiting until next year to play it.
