But Dreamcast held its own light to Sony for sometime and really satisfied me.

Ain\'t that the truth.

Though on the 64/128 bit thing.. The DC\'s CPU is 64bit, while the graphics chip is 128bit.. I guess that\'s why SEGA can get away with calling it a 128bit machine. Technically though, the DC\'s processing power is from a 64bit CPU. Amazing system regardless, a pity more ppl didn\'t appreciate it.

now Dc is fading :( and ps2 is showing some second gen games :) (mgs2, FFX, DMC, GT3 etc) I see the graphicall gap between ps2 and DC betting bigger and bigger. Games like CT, F355 and SC impessed me a year ago but now they look nothing special

and yes ps2 is far superior to DC, have you played MGS2..great graphics with some occasional slowdown. Something DC will never match! :)
Do you believe in a god that statisfies
Do you believe in a god that opens eyes?
Do you believe in a god that tells you lies?
Or do you believe in me??

If you totally skip the Vector Units and you don\'t stream Textures,PS2 is a little more powerful than the DC in the overall aspect !
When you start to realize how to program Vu0 and Vu1 and how to stream Textures...you create Games like FFX,MGS2,Devil May Cry and GT3 that, hands down, are FAR technically superior than any DC Games!
...and I think that when Developers will push the PS2 at 100%...the old DC games will look like super-PSone games !

The 4th and 5th generation of PS2 games will show what I said in the last statement.

(The DC-library of games is Great, just now better than PS2\'s one,I\'m only arguing about Raw Power :))
He has the power of both worlds
Girl: What power… beyond my expectations?
AND IT\'S PERSONAL
Demon: No… the legendary Sparda!?
Dante: You\'re right, but I\'m his son Dante!

How is this possible when your **** is constantly stuck up the PS2\'s ***?
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Personally I thought the whole Idea of the DC blowing someone\'s **** is highly facinating, what do you call a person who makes love to a machine?

You are pathetic.

You may speak, now.

No problem.

You\'re still pathetic, though.

Going back on subject, what\'s all this talk of Dreamcast having more graphics memory than PS2 (4mb to 8mb) and ant-aliasing, which PS2 doesn\'t have in hardware...doesn\'t this mean Dreamcast\'s graphics will be better? Or does the PS2\'s processing power make up for it?

PS2 spec-wise is much more powerfull than DC but developers are having a hard time trying to find out how to use the PS2\'s power. There are some games that do look really good though.
