Something more than a semi-upgraded GT2 graphics engine. Jaggies galore. It\'s pitiful. I can see ppl defending the gameplay if that\'s their bag, but the graphics are unacceptable to me. It doesn\'t look any better than RR5. Since it\'s been delayed so many times I hope it looks better upon release, or I\'m not getting it.

EThugg, how can you say the graphics are barely any better than GT2. Are you sure you have been playing the same GT3 demo as everyone else has? The graphics are simply amazing and its not the final build. No pop up extremely detailed cars just take a look at the rims on the cars.

I don\'t care about those small details if it\'s still jaggie city (it is). I hope your right, that it\'s not the final build.

My demo said GT3:A-Spec at the title screen. It had the monkey in the tree. It had the light coming down through the trees (which was the only decent effect that I saw). I imagine that is the same demo.

Actually, there was some quite horrible pop-up, at least at Laguna Seca. When you come to the final straight, you can see 2 trees popping out of nowhere. There were some other moments of pop-up too, but this was the most noticeable.

I think the game looks gorgeous, jaggies or not (I sure as heck didn\'t pay attention to any).

Ethugg put the demo disk in,and read the nice long message that comes up first,and what does it say?That there will be big enchancements in the final build,the backgrounds did look a bit low res,and will be much better,have you seen the movie of the cars in the rain?
Also i am not starting anything Ethugg,but all i wanted to know was,what games have you got that do impress you for the PS2?

WHAT!! GT3, 3rd?? Okay, FFX does look better, but c\'mon, GT3 is almost as blinding beautiful as Square\'s RPG!!! Metal Gear S2 is okay, but somehow I think the best looking games on a console are almost always the racing games, right? And GT3 is the racer among racers!! Please, more justice to the \'ware!!

Oh, and did I mention I also hate Square for rejecting an idea I had for FFX? Well, almost hate them, but still, I sent them a letter, and they only said "Sorry", so I\'m a little resented about FFX...Just wanted to vent that off my head. Damn you accursed conglomerate Square!!(You make nice games, though)

Alot of games companies wont use peoples ideas,because some people will then use that agianst them,and probably try a sue them(spell check that).

Onimusha(both graphics and gameplay), Timesplitters (for fun when I have only a little time) RR5 (graphics are as good/better than GT# demo, and it was a launch title, gameplay), Shadows of Destiny (gameplay) Bouncer (graphics), Smugglers Run (gameplay) Summoner, Winback, Oni, (all are average in both, but are kinda fun), Klonoa (great in both respects), MGS2 Demo (both are good), DMC demo (great graphics but the action oriented gameplay has me weary now). Theres more that I like, but I seriously dont like the graphics in the GT3 demo.
