Max Payne heading for PS2.....

This could be the bomb the PS2 is waiting for. Its been almost three years in development(for the PC) and just looks awesome. This should be another big hit  for PS2.

the dreamcast one got canned, Dc would never be able to handle the graphics anyway....sad but true

I believe that the DC version was canned some time ago, but if I\'m wrong I\'ll be corrected post haste.

hey..if you guys want to see max payne in its real visual glory, running of your own hardware I suggest you download 3dmark2001 and test it, it features a matrix scene demo which looks great go to http://www.madonion.com

I just saw some vids of the game on the telly yesterday, and it looks so damn cool. It\'s made by a finnish team ya know There have been some articles about the game in finnish game mags, and the level of detail the makers are putting into the game is insane.

The textures in the game look absolutely amazing, especially on the clothing and characters. I have my doubts about the PS2 version... but hoping for the best!

Well, I really doubt the PS2 version would look much better. I mean, the resolution on a TV vs. high res on a good monitor... The PC version is bound to look better IMO (with a good PC of course).

Where have you seen PS2 pics? I\'m pretty sure they don\'t exist yet.

Max Payne is on top of my waiting-list, really. It\'s being made by a finnish developer named Remedy.

I never knew there was a ps2-version in development! Now even I will have an opportunity to get the game... I just hope that it\'ll survive to the shelves, and won\'t be canned like the DC -version...

first off that game is comming to the XBOX, which means those pc graphics, amazing as they are will be greatly improved for the xbox version. SO instead of me buying the PC version, i will wait for the xbox one.

this discussion is about the PS2 version of max Payne with a hint of why the PC version might look better than the PS2 one.

Lets not announce our Xbox BS cause no one really cares
