Braveheart had  a better storyline IMO

both we\'re cool and being in the Arena , or that opening battle scene was amazing when you cranked up your Dolby Digital system. I could feel the power of the arena,

The more mideival violence I get, the better my day is.

That being said, I still find it hard to top that scene in Braveheart where Mel Gibson busts up in that dude\'s bedroom on horseback and pounds his face with a big-ass ball-and-chain.

Daymn!  That was awesome.

Braveheart is easily better, Gladiator shouldn\'t even have been nominated for the Academy Awards.  Russel Crowe winning was a joke, he only won it because he should have won the year before for The Insider.

Braveheart definatly! I\'m a sucker for Scotland and everything related to it, so Braveheart is one of my all time favorites. Gladiator was really cool as well, but it had a more... "sterile" feel to it.

Braveheart sure. This one of the best films on the history. It´s my best after THE ONE: MATRIX ;)

Definitely Braveheart- much bigger production values, better storyline (it\'s 100% accurate- what a concept!!!), MUCH more extras, and no cheesy-looking CG backdrops.

Also, Braveheart was more relentless and sinister, conveyed more emotion, and had me damn near crying a couple times.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ashford and I have not seen Braveheart. Thank you and have a nice day.
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Well, it\'s a hard choice - they\'re both REALLY good, but in the end, perhaps I would take Gladiator, as I found Braveheart too long all in all.

Gladiator just hits the subject wich interests me - Gladiators - and has VERY good soundtrack and acting is brilliant.

Gladiator is the best one IMO. This movie is freaking great when used with a Dolby Digital system.

Ah that\'s exactly what I think too.  That\'s why I don\'t feel bad about him winning best actor.  The Insider was absolutely brilliant.

Neither film should have won Best Picture though.  Apollo 13 should have won in 1995, and Traffic should have won this year.
