Me and Gradman are on the same page, gamewise.
Defender--got up to level 78 and had to stop to do chores. BUMMER.
Berserk(sp?)--first game to creep me out. The relentless "Invincible" seriously gave me nightmares.
Star Commander--warm fuzzy.
Cosmic Avenger--fantabulous.
Double Dragons I and II in both the arcade AND NES.
Ninja Gaiden--I even drew comics of this game, it inspired me so much.
TMNT II on the NES.--I remember me and my buddy stayin up really late and pissing off my dad with this one, even though we were "too old to be playing that ****".
Zelda II--took me months to beat, and when I finally did beat it, my mom had NO idea I was playing it upstairs in our game room. I let out a triumphant shriek and she nearly pissed herself.
Street Fighter II--the mother of all favorite games. Got it for 20 bucks right after release, and got my money\'s worth outta it. This was the reason I got my SNES.
FF2 and 3--both great. Both epic.
Zelda 3--still get shivers when I pick up the Master Sword.
Warhawk--First game on PSX AND PS2. Made sure to honor my PS2 with this great game.
Marvel Super Heroes--I musta pissed everyone off with my incessant rantings about how much I loved this game, and how pissed off I was about the massive delays in the PSX release. Even though it sucked donkey nuts (Emp.Rob), I still loved it \'cause it was MSH, and it was free after I bought it. And yeah, I got my money\'s worth.
Resident Evil--I had nightmares about this game. It was superbly suspenseful. Pristene in my mind\'s eye.
Everquest--not a console game, but gives me a warm fuzzy when I think about the first time I played it (after that, I have feelings of frustration, but when I first got into it...WOW).
NHL \'94--best hockey game, hands down, on the SNES.
NHL Faceoff \'97--Made my own team featuring the likes of Paco De****o, Bunches O\'Punches and Lord Creamy and a slew of other names that STILL make me chuckle. (I\'m so witty, and handsome to boot!)
Prince of Persia--Love/Hate. Pain in the butt, but still a great game.
Tenchu--LOVED the ninja stealth theme. The quintessential ninja game. A MUST have.
MGS--THE stealth game. One ninja, but, still a great game.
These games ALL give me great joy when I play(ed) or think about them. All of them are fantastic in their own rights. Sorry for the long ass list, but, oh well, I\'m sure you\'ll get over it!
