i just recently go this off the ign message boards...
and it sounds very interesting...

Wow!! Good eye getting that messege! That borad is one fast one.   At E3, this Naughty Dog game will kick some ass!  :D

I\'m not surprised at all.  I figured that the Project Y media that was released wasn\'t really up-to-date with the game in its current state.  I\'m definitely looking forward to seeing the real deal in a few days.

I hope/assume they\'ll release good quality media onto the net, and not just amateur videos... but, whatever.  Hopefully this game will look good.

I agree with Jumpman.  Don\'t get your hopes up.  Although, it would explain a lot. :)  Wouldn\'t it be cool if it was true though?  I would go throw it in the Nintendo fanboy\'s faces!  Ha ha ha. :)

From IGN boards :rolleyes: I\'ll wait for more "reliable" sources for this news.

Now, I wouldn\'t mind it if is true, but from a forum with a ton of fanboys, I\'m pretty skeptical.

It would be cool, if it was true... but that\'s a very big if. I hope ND can pull it off though and amaze us all. But I don\'t count on it (so if anything good happens I\'ll just be pleasently surprised). :)

Would it not be surprising that this is indeed older footage. General expectations from ND\'s new game, not to mention their own grandiose claims, have generated considerable hyperbole as to what we should expect. Is it  possible that this footage was released ahead of time to lower people\'s expectations, so that more of an impact could be made at E3(this has been suggested before). Maybe this game will be everything they claim it to be, maybe not. Now at least, there is a reference point from which to judge.  It seems a little odd to release highly anticipated game footage a week prior to it\'s official unvieling, unless it was itended to bring it to the forefront of gamers minds. Bad publicity/controversy tends to gererate considerable discussion; hey, look at what we are doing.

This new info would explain why there are still jaggies in the game.  But, I doubt that what they are going to show at E3 will that much better than what we\'ve seen. :cool:

I downloaded the medium version of the trailer.
Very bad quality.

But I still think the graphics seemed nice. :)
