Which console ruled E3?

I dont know how e3 went... So tell me how did it go?

I say all of them.  Some great announcements all around for all 3. It should be noted, there\'s still another day left...

IT\'s not over, is it?  I was udner the impression is talstesd for at least a coupel of days.  Newho, I thinkg they all looked stong, mostly PS2 and GC though.

I think sony won.
The reason I think this is because even though it is 2 years old almost, it held its own with TWO yet to be released platforms who have been hoarding news, just for release at E3.
I think people were thinkin sony was going to do terrible and they ended up showing great games like Jak and Dakster and THPS3 ONLINE(!) SOCOM and so many more.

Too hard to tell, but it seems like sony and nintendo had most of the big news.

Yesterday, I would of said Microsoft, infact I think I did. But after downloading more videos of the GC and watching tons of TechTV / Silcon Spin, I have to say Nintendo won it hands down. They had plenty of announcements, games to show, and everything went smooth, and even after all that was announced, there is alot more, including the price of the GC to be shown / announced in August at SpaceWorld. For those factors, Nintendo totally dominated E3.

There really wasn\'t much Sony could do. They was up against two new consoles, which took all the media from them. Still, announcements on the HD or something would of been nice. I\'m starting to think of the HD as  \'vaporware\'.

I went neutral

GC had some sweet looking stuff although not alot of it. A couple of games definelty peaked my interest , but Nintendo 1st party still doesn\'t do alot for me. But can\'t deny the fact that the games just looked very nice in the graphics department

The PS2 had alot of it, Buying an XBox or a GC in November does sound like a possibility with about 20 "I Want" games being released for the PS2 at around or about the same time

Sony also had the largest variety of games


Xbox although it tripped over its own feet somewhat it still had the prettiest graphics. I do need to see some of these Xbox games actually in gameplay but some of those screens has shown alot of people hgow much graphical power the Xbox will have. Yet I\'m sure a few of you want it to fail. I have to say so far I\'m in for an Xbox

Sony won, sure

Both these machines are stealing the show for me.

Nintendo...too kidie I think

5 - 12 age group from the look of their games and you will be hard pressed to find a gamecube game with any blood shed.


PS2 - Still angry that after two years we still dont have real quality games.
I know they are coming now but two years to wait is a joke.
Just wish developers got their ass in to gear 2 years ago and produced the games on launch.
If im honest I think the games for PS2 launch were crap.
Only one stood out and showed quality...SSX

XBOX - Looks like they are going to capitalise on PS2 duff launch of games and release some great games, graphicaly anyway.
This is what anoys me !

Developers given the xbox with less timescale then PS2 had and producing stunning games like project gotham racing etc.

To choose a winner of the console war would be between PS2 and XBOX.

And PS2 now eventually having great games GT3 + MSG2 its going to be close

What do you mean after 2 years,still no quality games,have you not seen some of the games comming out this year,what is that called errrrrrrr GT3 yes thats it,And that other one Devil May Cry,Final Fantasy,Red fraction,MGS2,i can keep going if you want me to,i think soon you will have all the quality software you want.
And from the reports i have read,Xbox had a few problems in the fram rate department,and now all i keep hearing from other boards is that Xbox will blow the roof off the next show,what i thought that Xbox was going to do that at E3,i know it wasnt the final hardware,but i didnt hear sony keep making this excuess every 5 seconds.
And i thought that the ps2 launch was ok SSX,MADDEN,Timesplitters(all pretty fun for me)then onimusha,star wars star fighter,and other games)in the last couple of months.
And the reason you are seeing better graphics on the Xbox,is because it is not a new design,on the insides,that has been used before on PC,but the PS2 has new insides,and you wait till,they fully start getting the power out  of the ps2,it will hold it\'s own against the Xbox no problem,just like it is doing at the moment.

2 years??????? it just came out in the US last october....what planet are you from?  maybe in Japan almost a year..........it came out there in January 2000 I believe....correct me if I am wrong

the games will come, they are, and nintendo hasnt announced anything that intrests me, x box\'s halo is really cool though.. ill just get it on pc.

actually correct that, rogue squadron intrests me, but one game on a console isnt enough for me to get it.

How many games interested you at the PS2 launch? Just wondering.

Sony and Nintendo took E3, easily.

Ps2 hasn\'t been out for 2 years...it\'s only been out for 8 months in the US, and about a year in Japan.
