I think that DBZ is good for Anime. A lot of big time Anime fans started watching DBZ first. That is what peaked their interest. Anything that turns people on to something cool is good in my book.

Yes, I said IMO. It turns a lot of people off of anime. They don\'t realize there\'s intelligent/interesting anime, they assume it\'s all as gay as DBZ.

I got interested in anime with Robotech, Tranzor Z and starblazers (which were all on TV as I was a kid)...BTW it is my 25th BD today!

hey happy bday dewd, good stuff :)

I like Dragonball Z, I reckon it\'s pretty good. Granted, I\'m not an animè freak, so i don\'t really know how deep it goes. The first anime show I watched was teknoman i think. The movies I\'ve seen are akira and ninja scroll. Some evangellion too.

But ah well, everyone has their opinions

as for the cell shading... I don\'t know if I should like that or not. I\'m thinking not.

I like DBZ now. Been watching the Cell Saga on Cartoon Network (UK). It seems cool. BTW im new to anime, seen Tenchi Universe, a odd film and thats about it.

Same here Killa.  I would watch Starblazers religiously.

not too bad the only good thing is my car insurance drops.......  Robotech got me hooked on anime....heck i even played the role playing game and had some of the toys......if you go to Hollywood Video They have alot of anime movies and starblazers cartoons......
