Sony will probaly announce that it will drop it\'s price also at the same 199.00 slot.

So here it goes at launch

Gamecube - 199.99
PS2 - 199.99(Unofficial)
X-Box - 299.99

Which would u choose if you already have a PS2, I\'m going with Gamecube.

Well I just don\'t really care for Nintendo franchises. I\'ve tried to like them but for some reason Mario and Zelda just don\'t do it for me.

There are a few games I do like that we\'re shown at E3 for GC but not enough to get me excited.

On top of that the PS2 just has so much more to offer me.


I\'m still holding out on Xbox as my 2nd console but I probably won\'t buy an Xbox at launch. Then again maybe I will who knows but I do have one pre-ordered

well... i would definetly go for the gamecube... i don\'t know why....  but i woudn\'t buy an xbox.... i\'ll stcik with the PS2... the games are looking better and better everyday....

man... it has been like almost 2 months since the last time i actually turned on my PS2.... school suxors!

2 weeks for me man, I only have to take one test(Algebra II), I\'m exempt from all my other classes.  So I get out of school 6 day earlier than everyone else, yes.  

Does anyone smell the late 1990\'s fued between Sony and Nintendo all over again.  Somehow Billy has to do something that will spark fire back in the X-Box, because it is now lost, drop the price Billy Boy.

Reason -

(a) X-Box will be a lot of PS2 ports. So GC offers more variety.

(b) Price is lower by $100.

(c) X-Box has no franciases.

About time someone agree with me.  I\'m sorry I see more games I want on the xbox than the gamecube.  Oh yeah the xbox will look nice next to my ps2 and dc.  I like all the 3rd party support xbox is getting.  About time america is coming out with a decent console.

The system with the 199.99 price tag main audeince is kids age 6-13 year.  X box is smart for going for the same market sonys after.  Instead of just kids like nintendo.

bill gates has constantly said that he will UNDERCUT sony even if it means a loss he has set aside 4 billion pounds just for losses. The last the games shop i work at heard (2 days ago) the x - box will retail at £189-99 2 undercut the expected psx2 drop 2 £199-99.

Gates has 2 huge premises one in hungary for the UK machines - sorry just some info - not important

I hate legacy games and most of them suck.

If all you can play on GC is Mario Circlejerk 55 and Mario Mantrain 3 then I\'d rather have an X-box.

And please God, no more Sonic.
