I will wait for this game with great interest.
Force is strong in this one.
I notice some difference between ffx fmv and in game...welll, not that big but still...seriously, the fmv have better lightning effects, better graphic, better texture, what do you expect from rendering...and better shadow and physics...the real time have for one crappy shadow! (Cough, cough...it remind me of ff8 black spot shadow! Cough). Although the streaming texture are mindblowing, the fmv still have better texture...thanks to the lighting effect.
and for some part of the game, the background graphic looks like psx graphic...blocky and pixelated and blurry background while other background looks nearly like CG...why is this is still a mystery....maybe ps2 limitation. Programmer try to tweak a little bit here and there but there is still some noticeable psx-look-alike graphic...i am not being picky, ffx comparing to metal gear solid 2, ffx still needs some help. ffx have high polygon counts, but in terms of physic, artificial intelligent, motion captured, even mgs2 implemented cool shadow for snake...i still think mgs2 done better job on that than ffx...i am not bashing it, it look awesome, but mgs2 is better.
when i first saw ffx on Square Millenium Show last year, I was very excited. Tidus have crazy shadow that manipulate his every moves and even his shirt and pant, and hair react to physic, as Tidus run, his hair flew and his shirt and pant wrinkled a little and flew too. (psst, at that time, Tidus hair was black...now it was blonde) now, everything was limited...no real shadow, his spike hair doesn\'t react to physic, his outfit is stiff as a stick....but overall, ffx is have me hype...
