The DC version is canceled. Yesterday I saw the PS2 version on TV and it looks like crap. But I will wait for the full version and then We will see how good it is. Co-op is so cool :)

How many of you folks who say you\'re definitely going to buy this have already played through the PC version?  I\'m just curious because I\'ve been playing HL since it was first released, and I don\'t see enough added content in this release to warrant me buying it for the PS2.  Don\'t get me wrong, it\'s an awesome game.  If you\'ve never played it, you probably won\'t go wrong buying this version.

I exhausted the single player mode on the PC version and started playing deathmatch multiplayer.  I got bored with deathmatch and started playing Team Fortress Classic.  I got sick of TFC, and started playing Action Half Life. Not too long after that I started playing Counter-Strike, and everything else pales in comparison.  This PS2 version doesn\'t even include online multiplayer, so I\'m not interested.

The extra mission, Decay, will be a cooperative effort starring two chicks who are HEV suit trainers, or something.  Also, the graphics upgrade is supposed to be better than the soon-to-be-released upgrade coming for the PC original version.  We\'re talking fully articulated faces and hands with added details to clothing as well.

Those shots are indeed from the PS2 version, as all models have individually rendered fingers, a small detail featured in the PS2 version.  The bottom shot is definitely from Decay.

Also, are you sure the DC version is canned?  Last I heard it was set for a June release.  It was supposed to include Blue Shift wasn\'t it?

As a sidenote, Decay can be played single-player style, except your help will be an AI controlled bot, that you can control at any time.  Apparently, several levels will REQUIRE specific teamworkings.

I may get this, it depends how satisfied I am with Red Faction.  I played it on my comp, but only in software mode, and I never finished it.

PPS- Also, its reported that the game is already running at 60fps and has half-second load times between levels.  Impressive...most impressive.

I\'ve read a few feature storys about this one in magazines. They put comparison shots of the PC version, and while the PC version looked damn good for it\'s time, this one just blows it away in poly count and detail.  This game sounds fun, I\'ll get it if it turns out as good as I\'ve heard.
Somebody sayed it looked like crap when they saw it running in this thread. Was there jaggies and stuff?  The polys, while there are tons of them do look a liitle ruff around the edges in the 3rd shot
