thank you for chiming in.  i agreed about the lockdown, i can't go anywhere either except walking around the neighborhood or around the block to exercise and getting some sun.  i can't go to the gym either but its understandable and necessary lockdown though.

I know the feeling guys. My whole state is still on lockdown. But NJ got hit really hard. My area has a lot of cases. So many I stopped giving a shit about the number weeks ago. But it's not too bad. I still see my girlfriend and the governor just opened the parks last weekend so we do get some nature therapy. Otherwise, not much to do.

Souly, I was just looking at the numbers for all of Australia. How have you guys handled this one so well? I'm looking at the numbers and it says just shy of 7000 in the whole country? That's just 1000 more than what's in my county alone! Also, you're death rate according to my calculation is 1.4%. My state alone its like 6.8%. Do I need to move to Australia? lol

Our government put the country into lock down pretty fast. Can't travel from state to state, can't leave the house unless for work, food, medicine, exercise etc.
Big fines if you get caught doing anything that's deemed unnecessary. So no parties, going to families, friends houses etc.
They've just now eased of the lock down a little. Can have groups up to 5 indoors and 10 outdoors.   For the most part, when our government said its lock down time, we all went "ok"  and just did it.
If we have any slight signs of cold or flu we have to get tested and put ourselves into quarantine. My brother had recently had a cold, had to be tested and was on house lockdown till he got the results.. All clear.  So for the most part everyone just did what they were told. Didn't stop the weirdos from buying up all the toilet paper and hand sanitizer though. Our stores put in policies to stop people returning it. So some retards now have years worth of toilet paper they can't sell back to stores or on ebay etc.  Funny shit!

Wow. Ok. I was starting to wonder if maybe it was because you guys were going through summer/fall so people wouldn't be as close and outside more and if it's like the flu, doesn't spread as fast in warmer weather. Guess it's more that your country has it's shit together lol. Well good for you guys! Wish my government took it seriously early on. The orange buffoon in the White House really dropped the ball on this one. We're still having trouble getting people tested here and it varies state to state. And then this moron is walking around shaking hands, visiting places without a mask and suggesting we inject disinfectants. He's such an embarrassment to my country. And now we have idiots not wanting to go along with the lockdown because "they're rights are being violated." Fuckface, what about the right of your neighbor to live? Is you getting a Big Mac more important than someones life? It's really showing to me how much Americans value money over human life. Luckily those people are in other states for the most part. I've heard Republicans I know bitch about it in my state, but for the most part they're going along with it. But we've had among the most deaths in the country because of how densely populated my state is, so I think they get it but have to flex their Republican muscle and do some whining for appearances lol.

I feel the governor of my state did a good job with the lockdown. And this is a lot for me to say considering I identify as a political moderate and he's super left wing and I had a lot to say about his policies in the past, lol. I mean, as of now (changes on Monday though) we could only go to essential businesses and restaurants offer takeout (got a pizza last night. Was good!). Monday nonessential businesses can open for curbside pickup only. Gyms and such remain closed, which is good. He's taking a cautious approach I actually agree with. We even have to wear masks in public which other states it's optional. And he struck a good middle ground. You can go out for exercise and to visit family and romantic partners which was nice since I could still see my girlfriend through all of this. She's really what kept my sanity through my unemployment and lockdown.

Yeah, the toilet paper thing here is ridiculous too. And grocery stores aren't allowing returns either. So sucks for those people who bought it up  I live alone so I bought a 6 pack weeks ago I'm still not even opening yet. But random shit is disappearing like yeast.

Yea i gotta say Trump doesn't look good in Australia either, seems like a total retard is running America. I've noticed a trend in that retards seem to love him too.
We can also get takeout, but some Macca (slang for McDonalds) stores are being shut down due to having cases of covid. Take out has pretty much always been a option. Some expensive as hell restaurants are jumping on board with it too.  Only thing i'm disappointed with now is our country are thinking of doing a "bubble" travel policy with NZ, Fiji, pacific islands etc. Which could create a 2nd wave of Covid. Hopefully this doesn't happen. I think we now stand at 99 deaths for a population of 30 million people. So we're doin good.  Still any deaths are shit.  Fuck this virus and the retards "cough" CHINA "cough" that released it!

Believe me, the level headed people in this country see how much of a tard he is. That's why Biden is polling double digits higher than him right now, and in states Trump won! And now the dumbass is saying our death count is a badge of honor. Because we should be celebrating a high death count because of your ineptitude you orange fuck. And yes, retards are totally in love with him. But when you see the demographic, they're education likely stops at high school (if that) and his supporters seem to come from areas of inbreeding, so can you blame them for being so dumb? lol. And any white collar person who supports him does so because his policies made them more money. And in America, money transcends human decency.

Same here. We've been able to get takeout pretty much since the beginning here. Some restaurants are now doing meal kits so parents can cook it with their children. Only thing I'm not liking about the takeout is I order it and by the time I get home, the food is cold :( But I mean, that's a first world problem I can't really complain about lol. I'm just happy to help a small business.

Wow. 30 million and 99 deaths? That's a sharp comparison between my states 9 million people (just shy of) and 10586 deaths as of yesterday. My county alone has 492,276 people and 572 deaths as of yesterday. But hey! Lets open the economy up like nothing happened! I've actually quoted your country's numbers a few times to people in the past weeks. People in my country are so dumb, they make the excuse "well people in Australia are very spread out so that's why the case number is so low". And I'm there like "they have cities you fucking moron". People here literally believe Australians are all bush people  :bang:

my brothers and me also go to mcdonald everyday for this past 2ish months and still going to this day to buy coffee and usually at curbside pickup too because of the lockdown.  i am bored and worst than that usually am in depress mood.  so my middle brother taking my oldest brother and me to mcdonald for curbside pick up help relief the depression and boredom.

Beside this past few months, mcdonald's app on mobile order has this very good deal of any size coffee for 99 cents once per a day.  on monday, they have a very good deal of free mccafe drink for any purchase of $1 or more.  my middle brother and i usually buy $1 chocolate milk bottle and get a free large mocha frap that is worth $4 ish.

starting on every monday, they also have $1 large fries which can be use once per a week and we take advantage of that deal too.  on friday, they have free medium fries on any purchase of $1 or more deal because of fries day.  i always buy $1 large drink soda usually coca cola and i get a free medium fries.  sweet.

btw, lol on calling donald trump orange baffoon.  lately, this past like 5ish years, i rarely follow politics or the news that much so i don't really know what is really going on in the country and around the world but i don't like trump that much either.

Yea we major cities in every state.  I live in Melbourne which has the biggest CBD, but Sydney has more population.  We have suburbs just like the states. Fuck all of us live in remote areas.  I personally live in a built up area. I've included 3 images to show you have close we really are to each other.  The outer suburbs are pretty closely built around the city. I'm about 40ks (24 miles) from the city,   You'll see in the images where i am, to where the city is and all the shit in between.   Also, where i found a dead guy once.  You may have to download the images.

Yea paul, Maccas is good shit, great for hang overs.  But exercise or something along those lines may be better to stop boredom then eating maccas.

wow, soulgrind.  aren't you afraid someone might stalk on you since you reveal the location where you live?

as for exercising, i did walk around the neighborhood or around the block everday like i said on my previous first post in this thread.  maybe you read it and forgot about it.  usually, i walk around the block for like 2 to 3 times a day because of boredom and to get some exercise since the gym is closed.

lately, my middle brother takes my oldest brother to mcDonald every morning by walking while i am still sleeping.  there are two mcdonalds close to our home that is about 2 and 2 1/2 blocks from where we live.  so by walking there and back, it takes them over a hour long.  good exercising i suppose.  sometimes i walk with them to mcdonald too when i get up on time in the morning.

and sometimes, i just walk to mcdonald by myself later in the morning or afternoon and go to the park nearby and walk some lapses before heading back home.  either that or my middle brother drives me to mcdonald and i order some food or drink and he then drop me off at the park so i can walk lapses there before walking back home.

not only that and sometimes he drives me or me with oldest brother to a different city like to the beach and then drives back home as a way to past time because of boredom and me specifically depression beside boredom.

i wish to get rid of depression so i can get interest back in watching movies/videos or play videogames to past time beside walking or getting rides to places.  but so far, i am still in depress mode unfortunately.

Nar not worried about people stalking me, My area is a big place. My info on this forum is limited so a average joe isn't gonna know my details to find me. SoulGrind isn't exactly my name  B) Also, why would anyone want too?!
Sorry to hear about your depression, it's a pretty shit mental disorder. My bro suffers from it too.

Like I said. Americans are dumb. But it's like when I said they have dense population areas and suburbs just like the US, people look at me like I'm insane lol. But it's usually Republicans who I have to try to explain this to lol.

Oh Souly. You need to come to the states and try real fast food lol. I've been getting Chick Fil A almost once a week since this all started. Those gay hating bible thumpers know how to make a damn good chicken sandwich :) Also, been eating a bit of White Castle. Those are the tastiest burgers especially if you're blasted from a night of drinking. Just make sure you don't have anywhere important to be the next morning because your shit will be monstrous  :bounce:

I've never been too worried about it either. I've had my state under my username for many years. I just don't reveal too much. Not that I'm worried about you guys or anything like that, but the randos that come by. But clips and I were both from the same area in New Jersey. He actually lived in the town I was born in lol. That's how close we were. I remember Vid and Luke met up at one point.

We have KFC, Maccas, Hungry jacks (whopper king in the states) Red Rooster (aussie one) Dominio's (which is the shittest pizza ever made)  then heaps of smaller fast food mobs that are independent.
I've always wanted to try White Castle when i do go to the states, don't know when that will be but i'll be sure to get pointers from you guys on what to see, where to go etc. Right now  i wanna see, LA, Florida (Disney land, Miami ) Vegas, Arizona (grand canyon) and Newyork (Niagara Falls) I wouldn't mind seeing a southern state like Texas, Alabama, Mississippi etc just for the accent and see how people react to mine.  Also would wanna go to see the Gibson factory tour in Nashville.   Would be a very expensive holiday.

Burger King is called Hungry Jacks in Australia? That's funny. I wikied it. The logo looks like the older logo from here in the States lol. BK is good. I do like KFC too. Honestly, if I can finally travel outside the country, one thing I definitely want to do is try fast food restaurants in other countries. I know it is so different and it'd be interesting to see. And yeah. Dominos is absolute crap pizza. One of the better fast food ones in my opinion but here in Jersey, we take our pizza very seriously being so close to NYC. Though pizza chains do have a presence, there's so many independent pizzerias in my state. But we also have a high percentage of Italians lol. So not shocking :) And they do say the NY metro area has among the best pizza in the country. Supposedly it's the water we have here.

That's quite the list to visit! Should probably rent an RV for a couple weeks lol. I haven't been to any of those places personally (except Disney World a long time ago). Alabama is probably a "just passing through" state lol. In America, they're kind of that weird cousin you acknowledge is part of the family but not surprised if they set their house on fire nor try to defend them when they do or say something stupid  Apparently not a whole lot to see there either. I have a couple friends who moved there. When I ask them how they like it, they pretty much respond "well, it's Alabama. And it's cheap. And the people think the Civil War is still going on. That's about it".
