I can\'t tell you much about that Windows Product Activaton crap since I\'ve never had to deal with it (let\'s not discuss how I got my hands on the Beta :sconf: )
But as OS\'s go this one isn\'t bad, at it\'s heart it\'s just Win2k, and that\'ll suit most people just fine.
The things that I really like about this OS is.
- The built in skinning abilities make it alot easy ti customize, as soon as WindowBlinds XP is out, I\'ll be the first to get it.
- It\'s pretty darn stable actually, errors don\'t bring the OS to it\'s knees
- And the biggest feature is Remote Desktop, me and my bro have been meaning to test that baby out.
You might try asking Datamage about the WPA thingie since he also has XP.
But as I understand it, when the OS is being installed it scans the hardware and creates a special ID based on the hardware, when something is changed it\'ll require you to contact MS.
There was something floating on the internet a while back about what exactly it was that XP scanned, I\'ll try to dig it up.
