And suddenly the games that I was going to buy an xbox for start appearing on ps2, yeah good news I\'ll rethink my xbox purchase

But it makes sense for sega to do it, JSR wasn\'t a big commercial hit in any way, in fact it was one of the games that had the most underwhelming sales of 2000 (I think the game deserves better:)). Sega isn\'t going to do such a flop again so they moved it to ps2, and with ps2 massive userbase they cannot go wrong ;)

Strange, DirectXBOX immediately posts in a thread with a rumor of this, but when it confirms he acts like he hasn\'t seen it.

SEGA games on PS2.. what more could a gamer want? :thepimp:

I had a good laugh at the Teamxbox forums where Rasalant posted the same exact thread (again ;) )

Of course their response was

Oh OH! The ps2 can\'t handle the textures, with its limited VRAM..

And one guy said that the ps2 can\'t handle cel shading, and said that Fur Fighters got a 6/10 so it must be crap.. (eh?)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Jet Set Radio! I have been really wanting to play a game where you can deface property with spray paint and not get in trouble for it. I actually used to do it before in real life, but I was caught :(.  Also.. where in the hell is Shenmue?!?!?!

Good thing for MS that it still has Peter Molyneaux exclusive, I will still be getting an X-Box because the games will still come out for it first,t hen later when they rig them up to work on PS2 right :p

I kid, I kid.

:)

It will be interesting how good JSR:F looks compared to the X-Box version.

I agree with you man, but you just know the textures will be better on Xbox, and I\'m sure the Xbox verison will make it out before the PS2 one does anyway.  Project Ego is losing its steam.  At least I think it is, hmm who knows maybe MS will allow some more screens, or movies out later on. Whens the game due out? 2003?
R.I.P SNK.

Project Ego is sounding cool as ever in my mind. They had some new screens for it on DailyRadar UK about a month ago, they were low-rez, and that is being positive, although you could tell it still looked great.

I am pretty sure though that the X-Box games will beout first, ports later.
