Sega expands the list of PS2 titles to be shown at TGS, adding three previously unannounced games to the list.

Today Sega of Japan added to the list of PlayStation 2 titles to be shown at the Tokyo Game Show later this month, and there were a few surprises. The new games are Sakura Taisen 4, Super Monkey Ball, and Jet Set Radio Future, which appear to be ports of the Dreamcast, GameCube, and Xbox titles, respectively.

The new list also highlights the new Space Channel 5 title. Though we\'ve heard reports of its existence, we still do not know if it will be a port of the DC original (perhaps with extra features) or an entirely new game. The updated official list of PS2 games to be shown now reads:

Virtua Fighter 4
Crazy Taxi
New Space Channel/Space Channel 5
Guru Guru Onsen 2
Jet Set Radio Future
Rez
Sakura Taisen 4
Super Monkey Ball

Details on each title should emerge in the coming weeks as Sega prepares for what will likely be their most important trade show ever.

Like I said before JSR:F is coming to ps2 as well as monkey ball.

DOA3 would be nice on ps2 wouldn\'t it? One problem how close you think it would be to the xbox version? Its polygon count is 4x as much as doa2hardcore. So I wonder if ps2 could even do it?:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

texture wise it wont be as good......but oh well...least were getting jet set radio and monkey ball...no need for an xbox or gaycube for now....sega will live in ALL consoles!!!!!!

im used to calling the gaycube, \'gaycube\' just like i used to call the ps2 the \'pscrap\' for a while until the good games started coming out for it......if anyone needs to grow up, its nintendo....but dont hold your breath on that one... :hold:

It should be no surprise. I expected Sega would expand their list. Also, Sega has 5 or so unannounced games for xbox. I willing to bet it includes Crazy Taxi and VF4. Sega needs money and more games = more money.
