and why would they do an april fools joke before april the 1st? and those screens look pretty real to me unless they messed around with a gameshark

If Konami brought over Silent Hill 2, I don\'t see why they won\'t bring MGS2 to the Xbox.

There\'s probably some type of exclusivity contract for Metal Gear Solid 2, for at least a year.

So if MGSX (a port of MGS2) is ever released, it\'ll be at least a year from the PS2 release.

Those are definitely a joke, BTW.

i wont go into why its a fake due to the fact you have to of played and completed the game to understand.

You see Mr Hideo wanted the whole consept of MGS2 to be from Raidens prespective, this was to give the player a sence of who much a Legend Snake is and also to give you an insite into how other people perseve him...

thats why you can\'t play MGS2 as Snake !

Hideo Wanted this one to be diffrent form the rest !


As for the screen shots they could be made by using the reply theater on the PAL version of MGS2 on the PS2.

If you could play as Snake.. the whole point of MGS2 would be lost.

Im referring to the ending.

Sure.. I didnt want to play as Raiden either at first.. But later in the game he grew on me. He discovered his past, became a man instead of a kid

I like Raiden. He cant replace Snake. But he\'s still cool.

Remember what Hideo said when referring to people not liking Raiden.

"This is my Metal Gear, I can destroy it if I want to"

I don’t think we’ll get to play as Snake ever again. He will be more like Octano. Maybe helping out in the missions.

i Loved playing Riaden !

it was a refreshing change and also it made me feal like a Metal Gear Virgin All over again !

also i got all Goose bumpily when ever Snake gave me advice.

in many ways the Raiden / Snake reationship was a kin to a Father Son one where Snake the experieced Passes on his knolage to Raiden the Newbie !

I agree with ooseven but raiden isn\'t a newbie when it comes to fighting, remember that he picked up his first AK when he was 6.

I suspected these shots right from teh beginning, but they looked interesting so i posted them to see what you people think about them

its some clever doctoring work, and who is the guy in the codec screen, he doesn\'t look like a character kojima would use for his games

[edit]i see what was being said now and i mis-understood.. and if this were true.. i\'d buy an X-Box.. simple as that.. because if you think about it, there are all sorts of things that snake does that he doesnt tell you about, and where he has been, where he is going.. you call him up, he does some sniping..

he would have unlimited ammo though..

MGS2 is one of the greatest games ever made, if anyone says it would have been better playing as Snake they are kidding themselves..  the story opened up so much more with Raiden

yeah, and we could wait another 32 years for the game to be released.. you want to play as snake, play the tanker mission.. you want to fight the bosses as Snake, do it.. quit your complaining, the story was 10x deeper with Raiden as a character, having had Snake as the character would have ruined the entire game.. in fact.. it would have been impossible without drastically changing the story (most likely in a VERY less compelling way)

and having Snake giving you advice, and playing beside him (he jut kicked absolute ass) was the so awesome.. made him 10x the character he was in the other games..

and those pics are quite obviously fake..

No he wouldn\'t, cos he never had the bandanna until the end did he...
