Interview with the Vampire

It\'s quite obvious that the male vampires (and most of Anne Rice\'s characters are male) are bi or gay.  I\'ve read the series, and there shouldn\'t even be a question about this.  While Louis and Lestat may not have been lovers, Lestat surely wishes they were.  Louis damn near makes out with Armand in Interview (book and movie).  Lestat and hmmm...the violin player he makes into a vampire were very very obviously lovers while they were both mortal.

As someone mentioned, Body Thief illustrates this to a greater extent.  Lestat also has sex with a female in this book.

David, Lestat\'s mortal friend, tells stories of his gay adventures as a young man.

My god, all the vampires are in love with Armand.  That reminds me of another - Daniel (the Interviewer) and Armand.  Lovers?  YES!

Lestat having sex with one female as a mortal (for the short time) and having a "thing" with Akasha doesn\'t make him automatically straight.

It couldn\'t be more obvious to me that there are gay themes in these books.  But listen, you straight boys, this doesn\'t make you gay.  I\'ve been reading this series for years, and I am not yet even close to being a gay man.
You\'ve no business in here!  This is my masturbatorium!
