LSU Dominated the entire game. The reason why they WOULD NOT blow out USC is because they failed to take advantage of almost every opportunity they got. This game should not have been close, and the fact that Oklahoma lost 21-14 with a chance to tie the game late is pretty pathetic. Oklahoma had 120 total yards after scoring their 2nd TD. If LSU was better than USC, they\'d know how to put opponents away -- something they did not do last night, and it almost cost them the National Championship.

Havent read all the posts here, but let me say this.

I havent seen a football game with so much action in it in ages.

I loved how rough they were too. I have never seen a closeline in a football game, or even a sideline warning. Quite the games.

I was going for OU though, bleh. Dont care though.

And I\'d have to agree with Bozco\'s opinion.

I was sorely dissapointed in the level of play...if it wasn\'t OU looking inept on offense, it was LSU getting countless penalties and blowing opportunities, much like Oklahoma. As I stated before, LSU should\'ve won by MUCH more than 7.

I say keep the stupid bowls, but at the end of all the bowls play one more game with the two teams with the best performances in their bowl game.  

So take USC and LSU and let them play a game the weekend following the final bowl games and let that decide the championship.  A real championship game.

This seems like a simple solution that would make both sides happy, those who love their meaningless bowl games and those who want a legit championship game.

To me, USC is the best team in the country..... they stomped Michigan.

Man see i wish they would play too

im tired of some people telling me that my team doesnt deserve what they fought for and all.

USC is a great team ans so is LSU - although im biased

and yes i agree LSU should have beaten them by at least 2 more touchdowns with the oppurtunites they had

but all in all - that game was sooooo much better in person at the stadium when you are an actual fan of the team - trust me - i was there it kicked ass and so did watching all the OU fans pack up and leave within hours

good stuff

There is nothing better than a national college championship game.  I\'ve been to numerous at the Fiesta/Sugar/ and orange Bowls.  

College football roxors.

And I don\'t think I\'ve heard anyone ever say that LSU didn\'t deserve the title.  Of course they do.  They\'ve kicked ass all year..  Well except for one game of course (Go Gators)
